Did anyone actually like their pre-BA boobies?

Its two weeks until my BA day and my mind is in overdrive! I'm filled with fear rather than excitement right now and the dreaded second thoughts :-( (too late as its paid for!)

Anyway, I was just wondering if any ladies on here actually liked their boobs pre-BA? Or did you all really dislike them? I have never hated my boobs, I've always loved the shape, even my surgeon commented on what a perfect shape they were......I've just always wished they were a couple of cup sizes bigger (over 10 years of wishing and still stuck at 32B!). Now I'm scared that the BA will totally alter the shape and I'll actually end up disliking my new boobs when I quite liked what I had to begin with!

Anyone else felt like this? xxx

yeah, I have hun. like you, my surgeon agreed my shape was perfect but I just want bigger ones! I think you have to weigh up the pros you're going to get from having the surgery as no one can predict how they will turn out but in the hands of a good surgeon that you're confident with you should get what your after.

Before I had surgery for cancer, my boobs were very small, but I had a good body and was confident with it. Like yourself, I maybe would have liked them a little bigger but they weren't a priority back then and I could pad them out to make a nice little cleavage. Never a bum cleavage but the shape could be seen and I liked that. I was good with make-up to and knew that shadowing could make them look better which I did too.

After my surgery though it was very different and I actually hated them because they were I suppose.... Flawed. They were misshapen and ugly.

I don't think it really matters what you think of your boobs though. I think its what you want from them that matters, whether that be more fullness, more projection, huge boobs.... The point is, if you can afford it, you can have what you like, so why not?

In a couple of weeks you'll have the boobs you like and a couple of weeks after that you'll have completely forgotten about your old boobs, so focus on the future babe and how its going to feel when you have what you 'want' xx

I wine through fazes of hating them and thinking they were ok as my weight fluctuated. 2 days before my BA I looked in the mirror and thought hmmm they are quite nice actually, but I think that was me just having a wobble. I LOVE my new boobs and wouldn't look back now. X

I hate the way my boobs they make me feel!
There slightly tuberous, and therefore, a bit pointy. Im a size 12 so have some curves but no boobs at all. I cant buy any clothes that look nice on me because i feel the top half of me is so boyish. I have a boyf of four and a half years, and although he loves me the way i am, i have never felt sexy in front of him and i hate that!
I decided to have my BA because i want to feel more feminine and look better in clothes. It will give me so much more confidence. Apart from them being slightly pointy, they are quite perky, but after i have kids etc, i can only imagine what would happen to them so i decided, to have them fixed and have the boobs ive always dreamed of!
I think its normal to have pre-op jitters, to look at ourselves and go...oh there not to bad really! But just remember how much you have wanted this BA and your be fine :) After your done and see your self in the mirror im sure your be like....right decision!!! :) xx

My boobs were nasty and even I looked at mine before surgery and thought...."Damn they're looking pretty good"!!

I do this whenever I go the hairdressers too though. I make the appointment to get my hair done and on the day it always seems to look bloody perfect

I've always hated mine. But its taken me years of saying ye I want bigger boobs and joking to people about either BA or even stealing half there's. Im 23 (almost 24) and after living with asymmetrical and tuberous boobs for so long I finally went to my GP 4 weeks ago and was referred to the nhs to hopefully sort me out.
Im a size 14 with 36a/d breasts x

I guess these are all rational feelings then and that some of us like our boobies beforehand.

I have wanted this for ages, I just think now its actually happening I'm freaking out a bit. Today I sat at my desk at work and went through everything....and I mean everything that could go wrong, which went like this......'I'm gonna die from the anaesthetic, and if I don't I'll wake up during the op, they'll be too big/too small, then I'll probably get a haematoma, or an infection, they wont fluff and I'll be stuck with boobs under my chin and then I'll get CC....then I'll need a re-op......" Hypochondria is a wonderful thing isn't it?! I thought I was about to have a bloody panic attack!!!!!

I know my surgeon is fab and I'm in good hands, so I'll just put all this down to last minute nerves! I'm beginning to think that this is the hardest part of my BA journey! xx

And Victoria.....good luck hun! I can't imagine what that must be like for you, and here I am moaning away! That would be fab if the NHS could help you! xxx

Defo last minute nerves. It could be the hardest part of having a BA i guess... the run up to it and actually going through with it!
Youve done your research, youve found your surgeon, you couldnt have done anymore so remember that, i think your be fine :) xx

Haha this is why its referred to as a 'roller coaster' hun. One minute you're up! The next you're down...

But it'll all turn out fine. You say you trust your surgeon and therefore have faith in them, so focus on the prize babe. The one you've envisioned before now.

Reading the surgery stories the girls have left for us to read helps lots! As well as chocolate - chocolates good lol. Xx

Haha im only kidding :) i think of all of that too...its all normal..i hope!!
My boyfriend is too, he cant wait to see the results! He is excited for me, but i can see him daydreaming now and then...im like 'oh look at this new bra for after the surgery' ... hes always like yer wow thats nice haha...
So i come online because i know ill have more excitement telling you lot lol :) xx

I hated my boobs!! I hated them so much, they stopped me doing all sorts of things that most people find "normal"! I haven't been on holiday in 5 years. I haven't taken my kids swimming in 5 years. I would wear a bra and a top to bed at night through fear my OH might touch them. He hadn't seen them for 2 years before my BA. They made me so depressed, I would rather have been totally flat chested than had what I had!! I couldn't look in the mirror, I would cover the bathroom one up, so I didn't see when I got out the bath! As it would reduce me to tears!!

Having my BA really did change my life!! Now I love getting out the bath and looking in the mirror, I love my OH touching them, I will take my kids swimming, and I have a girly holiday booked for September! I no longer dread having to try and keep them covered up, infact I love getting them out! My OH thinks he's died and gone to heaven lol!! It was the best thing I could have done, I just wish I'd had it done sooner, so my kids hadn't missed out on so much. Still we can't change the past, but it has defiantly changed our future x

It is normal for you to be having the thoughts and feeling you are Hun, even I found myself thinking " am I doing the right thing" but to have got this far on your boobie journey, it must definatly be something you want xx

Haha! Jennifer......boyfriends and BA's can be a funny combination! Mine actually said to me the other day, "After you have your boobs done can we go bra shopping in that Boux Avenue place cos the bras look nice"...Lol! Bless him! But yes, it is great having this forum.....and actually getting all those weird and wonderful questions and fears put to rest! xxx

Lisa, I can't imagine what it must be like to feel that way that it actually impacts on your life that much. It's amazing that your BA has turned your life around so much......congratulations to you babe!!!! xxx

I didn't mind my own boobs, and I think that was the scariest part for me, the fact that I was about to mess with something that was actually fine already.

I always thought it would be easier and less nerve wracking if you hate your pre-op boobs, cos then you can reassure yourself 'anything will be better than what I've got'.

So I can relate to how you're feeling. But I wanted to improve on what I had, like you, and they say you end up with a bigger version of what you had naturally, so you've got a really good chance of ending up with a great result if your shape is nice to start with. xx

Mine are an ok shape their just too small and no in proportion to the rest of my body x

My OH kept saying I love you as you are, bless him, but I didn't love myself! He was very quiet in the beginning, wouldn't talk to me about it. So I just have him the facts! I had booked, when and where it was and the recovery! He was fine about it in the end. Afterwards he was scared of hurting me, and of course they look like frankenboobs! But he soon realised the difference in me, and now loves the bad boys lol x

Mrsm - exactly my thoughts....I don't want to look at them and think 'what have i done' and regret messing with something that was perfectly fine before, but like the other girls have said, I need to focus on what I'll have not what I had and I really wouldn't be doing this if I was totally happy with them....and I wouldn't have spent the best part of 10 years researching it! xxx

Always hated mine... when I was younger (and overweight) they were big heavy and saggy and when I lost weight they were small and saggy! This is the first time in my whole life that I have ever liked them!

Yep I had to remind myself the night before my op that I'd been thinking about getting it done, and planning, and researching, EVERY DAY for so long, it was obviously just last minute nerves. xx

5Stonedown - mine have definitely deflated since I lost weight. Gone from 11st 6lb to 9st 6lb...they're still full though! I'm having the same size implant as you, 390cc, but high profile - hope they're the right size for me!!!!
