Re: MyBreast
I used mybreast because of the aftercare I paid £4650.00 they don't give a discount. My friend who also went with my breast paid a little more I think the price may go on what you are having with them I had 360 overs.
Hope this helps. x

Same as Lisa, but I did get offered a day case I think it was £300 cheaper. I have been very happy with my care so far. x

Re: MyBreast
Read the "road to revision" thread a couple of threads down. A few of the women have found it a massive struggle to get the "aftercare" that they are paying for when it comes to revisions with this company x
Re: MyBreast
Hello Lovely,
I went with Mybreast too. Because of the aftercare and The surgeon I wanted was with them. I'm now a month post op and everything thing has been great. I had to chase up my care co-ordinator for my pre op check, my that's no biggie! I had an overnight stay. Paid 5100 as I wanted to have Simon Withey, he charges a bit more, but has an excellent reputation. He gave me his work mobile and I was able to contact him whenever I had a problem, luckily I didn't!!!! but it was reassuring!
If you put mybreast into the search lots of threads will come up. There are a couple of girls who have had some complications / problems post op with them, sure that will pop up. There's a few girls on here who have been with them that I was in touch with pre and post op too. Always positive and negative stories. As Lisa said, do your research and go with someone you feel confident with, at the end of the day they are cutting into you! I know that money comes into it, but sometimes you get way you pay for! Read all the info and ask questions, no questions are silly! If you want o know anything PM me :) This forum is a god send in the booby journey!

Re: MyBreast
Also agree I have noticed a lot of girls on here struggling to get revision etc with MyBreast. I've not really seen that with other companies on here. Xx

Re: MyBreast
All the major companies don't give automatic revisions, Mybreast put their revisions before a board and your surgeon puts your case forward. It can take time but very few people struggle to get their revisions. They do consider patient aftercare. As for the other companies, you may wish to google some of them as the most popular well known companies can be the worst putting profit before care. I believe mybreast are the least complained about. No where is perfect.
Re: MyBreast
I'm considering my breasts too for the aftercare reason as the hospital I've booked with only offer 90 days aftercare which I've only found out today. Going to give my breasts a ring tomorrow and try and get a consultation sorted. Does anyone know if they offer a free consultation? Xx

Re: MyBreast
I'm early days po and I've had no problems with my care so far. I am quite confident if I needed revision my surgeon would make it happen. I found the admin staff a little slow but they have been friendly and helpful. I've been called a couple of times by my surgeons cosmetic nurse, I was offered a 7day check up with her then a 10day check up with my surgeon. I think no matter who you book with you will unfortunately always hear good and bad experiences. I personally went purely for the consultants experise as I felt a little safer then compared to the other mainstream companies, that's not saying they are not good but just not for me!

Re: MyBreast
The 25 for the consultation is taken of the total if you go ahead. It's only the initial consultation you pay for. My PS said I could go for as many pre and posy op appointments as I wanted too. Obv pre op if you were going lots he said they would wonder whether you were an appropriate candidate for a BA or you weren't ready at that point in time. You can go for a check up whenever if you need to. He said even in a year if a want a check to see if everything is ok then that's ok. This is with ll of the surgeons at Mybreast.

Re: MyBreast
I think like the girls say, there will always be bad and good reviews of companies, but you have to look at them overall. The aftercare should be a major point when you consider who you book with, but its also about which surgeon you feel most comfortable with :) xx

Re: MyBreast
I've been doing some research on my breast as I'm thinking of changing my surgeon with just three weeks to go. my main reason for this is the five year aftercare they offer to revise a capsular contraction and rupture.
also, any queries they say they are willing to have you come in and talk it through so there seems to be lots of support.
The consultation is 25 and taken off the final cost which is4300 if u don't stay overnight and 4600 if u do xx

Re: MyBreast
I've just been reading the terms and conditions for MyBreast that they have sent me and it says that you pay for medication required post-op, does anyone know is this on top of the £4350? I didn't think there'd be any additional charges. Aren't pain killers and anti-biotics usually prescribed for a week post op as part of the package? Or am I wrong? X

Re: MyBreast
I queried this too and no you don't need to pay extra for medications. I had my antibiotics IV over night and came home with Tramadol, paracetamol and ibuprofen.
