Too much boob below nipple?!

Hey Ladies,

I'm probably being over paranoid and I know I'm early PO however I had my check up yesterday with PS and he said I was fine to take micropore plasters off if I really wanted to. So I have and now I can fully see the breast I feel that I have too much breast below the nipple.

Is this normal? Will it change? help

I had my crease lowered if that makes any difference?! x

At 11 days post-op you're very early in your recovery just yet and things can change over time, but if you feel overly concerned by how they look Ray then do make another appointment to see your surgeon to discuss your concerns and most importantly with any concerns you have at all ensure your surgeon writes down what you say in your notes. I can't stress how important this is for anyone having concerns about their boobs hun. Xx

Thanks cookie, my mum is large busted and thinks its because I'm not used to having a bust! shrug

It was only once the plasters where off that I started to think this, typical! I see my PS on the 14 June do you think I should just wait until then? xx

I think that's a very good idea Jo. There's no urgency and the appointment is so far off and you may have gotten used to how they look by then, or... You may still feel the same and then will be the opportunity to say so :ok:

I hope so, I'm probably panicking over nout! Cookie when you get 5mins would you take a peek at my picturetrail and tell me what you think? I would really appreciate an opinion from someone who been here and got the Tshirt, lol. xx

I used to think mine looked a bit this way but my revision has sorted it and they are perfect position now. Definately worth raising it as I found once something has started to bother youit will bug you more and more over time!

I definitely will raise it, I hope I'm just being a dummy and they are ok! It's a roller coaster the whole BA experience. May I ask what did they do to correct it for you? x

I had a lollipop lift intially and I had a revision to a full anchor lift. I needed to get rid of more skin at the base of each breast anyway regardless of my nipple position and in doing this it pulled the skin down over the implants more so it was redraped and everything settled fine with my nipples in the right place.. it was just the loose skin at the bottom of each boob that made it appear that my nipples were too high.

Ah I see! I'm hoping that as mine settle in then maybe the appearance may be a little better in the lower pole, I can see where my old crease was but PS is confident that will fade.

i was first paranoid of symmastia when i was just very swollen and now im paranoid of bottoming out as they have droppped but im worried they have dropped abit much as whern i lift my arms up it looks funny nipple to high to much implant below it although nipples still point frontwards when arms are down, is it normal for them to look funny when you raise your arms im not sure? i will talk to my surgeon at the 12week check just to make sure hes happy but im not to concerned as my hubby thinks they look find he thinks im just paranoid with my new boobies ! xx

Rayray I had my creases lowered and felt the same as you. I was convinced I was bottoming out. I think your mum may be right and it's that you're not used to all that boob under the nipple. It took me a good three months to get used to. Xxx

Tink there's no dropping at all? When are you seeing your consultant next? Xx
