stabbing pain
Sorry if this is already covered somewhere I looked and couldn't find anything.
I've started getting quite bad stabbing pains in my left incision just at one end of it. it actually makes me stop what I am doing (and that's not much). I was just given the all clear on an infection I had but now I am worrying there is something really wrong. I've not had any pain at all up to now! Do you think I should be worried or is it just part of healing?

Re: stabbing pain
Its part of your healing lovely. Its the nerves that are causing the sensation. Not very pleasant I know nut very normal during recovery.... I'm sure you've been told already but just continue to keep an eye on your wound to ensure no infection does return and if at all you are overly concerned then that's what your aftercare covers sweetheart so don't be shy of using it even if it is only for some reassurance. Xx
Re: stabbing pain
I get that every now and then in my incisions.. Don't worry chick, they're just letting you know that they are healing nicely! X

Re: stabbing pain
LOL Princess, this is my problem I think too much!! Honestly i have diagnosed myself with everything that could possibly go wrong!
It is pretty brutal I wasnt expecting the pain to be this bad when I saw other girls talking about it and I think that just because Ive not had an ounce of pain up to now its came as a bit of a shock!
Thank Goodness for Cookie I tell you!

Re: stabbing pain
Oh dear, I'm going to be a nightmare when I've had mine.
I've diagnosed myself with brain tumours, blood clots and much more
I now have to stop myself using google as this is where I get all my wacky ideas from, I'm sure my doc thinks I'm cuckoo
