stabbing pain Empty stabbing pain

Sorry if this is already covered somewhere I looked and couldn't find anything.

I've started getting quite bad stabbing pains in my left incision just at one end of it. it actually makes me stop what I am doing (and that's not much). I was just given the all clear on an infection I had but now I am worrying there is something really wrong. I've not had any pain at all up to now! Do you think I should be worried or is it just part of healing?

Its part of your healing lovely. Its the nerves that are causing the sensation. Not very pleasant I know nut very normal during recovery.... I'm sure you've been told already but just continue to keep an eye on your wound to ensure no infection does return and if at all you are overly concerned then that's what your aftercare covers sweetheart so don't be shy of using it even if it is only for some reassurance. Xx
