Scars and nearly 4weeks PO Empty Scars and nearly 4weeks PO

The scars are healing so well one of them is nearly invisible I cant complain :) but they feel hard, I know this is normal but are the scars always hard? I cant wait to start massaging them...

Im just trying to think what makes them hard? Trying to remember having a cut or something in the past? Its The skin joining together again and obviously dealing with being cut and sewn back together? As well as the new weight of the implant on top of it? What a bad definition Hysterical
Im sure someone will come along and give me a better explanation...

Just trying to understand it......

All is well nearly 4weeks PO its actually flown by, few more weeks till my appointment and hopefully get the go ahead for bras and massaging etc
My left boob has a slight crease underneath it , its happening slowly haha so im trying not to watch them too much, I just have half hr of air to them when im home from work after my shower(freedom from the bra an to air my scars) then back in it pfffff... Oh how I want to burn them lol although they have become a comforter they are cosy to wear I suppose xxx Im still wearing small sani towels over my scars for comfort not sure when il stop it but it just makes me feel safe x As well as make up pads on my extra sensitive nips lol xxx The poor things have been on end for 4 weeks nearly haha Hysterical

Hope all you girls are well x

Would like to say Thanks to everyone who has helped reassured and given advice to me throughout this journey of mine (and will continue to) :) x This site helps so many of us and Im grateful for it...
Thanks to the ladies that run it group hug Heart

Your scars are perfectly normal Lottie. The hardness you're feeling is nothing more than scar tissue and when you're able to massage them (generally around 6 weeks post-op) you will start to feel the scar tissue break down over time and they'll fade to a fine line. Scars can take up to a year to fully heal lovely.

You can see how my original scars faded and how small they look after 'full' recovery [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Lottie. Xx

Agree hun, you have both internal and external scars so once you are able to massage this will help soften them up by breaking down the scar tissue.
