Boobs
I've just had my first workout in 6 weeks and I really wasn't prepared for hard it was going to be! I feel like my level of fitness has dropped big time since my op
Apart from the gym I've noticed changes in boobies, their definitely not as high anymore and they feel extra soft today. I really hope this is the start of things

Re: Boobs
All sounding perfectly normal to me babe boobs seem to be heading in the right direction and your fitness level... Yup! That's going to take time to get back to where you were pre-op. but listen to your body and get that built up slow and steady and you'll soon get there gorgeous. Xx

Re: Boobs
I went back to the gym last week too loclo, and wow it was hard work!!
I just took it easy and for the first time today I managed to run, only for 15mins but ..... ah it was amazing! Never thought I would miss running and going to the gym so much!!
I hope it continues to go well for you and take it easy.

Re: Boobs
you will get back to normal with your fitness hun, as for your healing, it all sounds good. Around the 6 week mark I found there were a lot of changes.
Re: Boobs
I 've not attempted to run yet daisy, I'm scared my boobies will get damaged!
Like Cookie said I'm going to build my fitness back up slowly, I almost passed out on the cross trainer lol x

Re: Boobs
I started exercising again this week too. I want my toned body back! Running is a no for me though, they just don't feel right doing anything high impact. I have used light weights though and that felt fine.

Re: Boobs
I've got my second post op tomorrow finally! Hoping they give me all clear to start working out again but my right boob is tender still. Both have dropped now.
Should the scars still be very red? Xx

Re: Boobs
Njwarren - its perfectly normal for scars to be red at 6 weeks post-op. often they can look worse before getting better. Scars can take a year or more before fully healing. Xx
Re: Boobs
So glad you said that cookie... I've been a bit worried my scars are not healing as seem a lot more red and they are not of the crease anymore is that normal too?

Re: Boobs
Its possible your boobs haven't yet settled hun, so the scar won't yet be in the crease. As the implant slowly drops though the scar moves down into the crease.
You'll probably see your surgeon again at around 3 months post-op, so if the scar still isn't in the crease by then just make your surgeon aware so they can monitor your progress, but at this very early stage you're at just now you still have many changes ahead and breasts too can take up to a year to fully heal.
