Could you be pregnant hun? Are you going to the toilet normally? Constipation can make you bloated.

Re: It's really getting me down
I don't think I could be, if I am it would be since before the surgery as I haven't done anything since the op. oh god I'm worrying now they never have me a test at the hospital :/ I'm going to take a test tonight I don't think I am tho. But better to be safe!! Well I am going to the toilet atleast once a day I know this sounds disgusting but they are very hard and like rabbit poo (sorry to be disgusting). Xx

You should try drinking more water, and have more fibre! And maybe try something like lactulose. If you pop into your local pharmacy, they will be able to give you something. X

aw hun hope it gets sorted soon!
agree with lisa, try to drink as many fluids as you can, and eat some foods with high fibre content.
a big bowl of kelloggs all bran flakes for breakfast might help! x

Re: It's really getting me down
I think many us can empathise babe having gone through the same but do try and stay focused on the 'fact' that this isn't permanent and it 'will' revert back to how your body was pre-op. I know it can hard when you're the one going through this and the longer its there the more you feel like this won't ever go away. But I promise you Jade, this is nothing more than a side effect and the more active you are, drinking fluids to flush through and a healthy diet to promote good healing the better you'll feel and the sooner your belly will return to normal. So hang in there hun. We're here for a chat whenever you need us. Don't worry or apologise as you have in your opening post, because what you're going through is something we totally understand and can talk through with you babe, so come please get those feelings all all you need to here - we'll be there for you. Xx

Hope it sorts itself out for you soon!! Must be terrible, especially for how long its been. I work in a pharmacy, I'd probably recommend lactulose as previously suggested, or maybe some max strength sennokot tablets. Xx
