boobs on finance?
Hello ladies, just a quick question out of interest.
I'm planning my ba at spire Cheshire (if all goes to plan) but once i get an idea in my head i want it now, lol. I'm so impatient, I've been wanting a ba for a few years now but my mind is totally made up this time. If i was to save the money it would take me until the end of this year, maybe even next year and although i was totally against taking out finance for them, I'm now considering it so that I can have them done sooner. So my question to you is, have any of you had them done on finance? How much were your monthly repayments and for how long? What are your general thoughts on cosmetic surgery on finance? Thanks in advance,x

Re: boobs on finance?
Personally I'm not keen on finance, only have my mortgage. I used my work bonus and saved the rest.
Sainsburys and Tesco are offering loans just now with a very low APR - my OH just took one out for his new car. Be warned though the places that offer a low APR normally only lend to people that have excellent credit scores.
Have you thought about saving half and doing half on finance? This way you would either be able to go for a shorter term or lower your payments?

Re: boobs on finance?
im not a loan person so not for me but i dont see that harm in doing it if its really what you want and can afford the re-payments
some banks have really good rates now as well so hopefully you wouldnt pay much interst.

It depends, some companies were offering interest free for a year. So it would really depend on which option is cheaper. The bigger deposit you have the less you are going to need to pay back. I used a credit card and it ended up being very expensive.
Re: boobs on finance?
I got a 13 month free on purchases credit card I pay £100 a month plus anything extra I earn in overtime. I don't do loans other than my mortgage. X

Thanks very much for the input, i thought about saving half and doing the other half on finance. I'm pretty new at this sort of stuff, until my mortgage i hadno debt and it still remains the only debt i have. Will have to have a look into loans, i didn't even consider this. Thank you xx

Re: boobs on finance?
I would definitely look into the bank loan. As Mrsflips said you can usually get a bank that will give u 12 months interest free on purchases - definitely work considering if you would be able to pay it within the year

Re: boobs on finance?
i love finance as long as you stick to direct debit payments and dont take out more than about 1 loan at a time its great. I had a 5 year car loan from the age of 18, husband had 3 year wedding loan for us and now there both paid off we got joint 3 year boob job loan, ive never missed any payments my credit rating is in the 90's which is the top if i didnt get finance i wouldnt have had a car at 18 i would have had to save and wait until i was 23 and i wouldnt have been able to get married 3 years ago and i would have had to save for a boob job until i was nearly 30! You just gotta make sure you commit to them and its fine xx

Re: boobs on finance?
I never even thought about a 0% credit card, but it makes perfect sense. I'm planning on paying 1/2 upfront then putting the rest on finance...if I can get it! I'm a student also but due to doing 40hr week placements and having 2 kiddies I haven't got a p/t job :( I think I need to sweet talk my hubby, lol. x

Re: boobs on finance?
I used finance to buy my car with which has been amazing got it at 18 and now almost finished never missed a payment but be careful these people just want your money. I took out 2 new credit cards which offered 0% for 12 months payments and I am going to balance transfer what is left on them after 12 months that way I won't pay any interest however if I can't balance transfer after 12 months the apr is 17% which is extreamly high, I am just paying off as much as I can to try and avoid any interest at all. Shop around at different places even if you put half on a credit card n the other half finance with the conpany with 0% and balance transfer after a year that would be better and easier to pay xx
