Saw my surgeon today for my check. He's really happy they have dropped and settled nicely. Smike One thing I forgot to ask was when can I take my tape off the scars?

Hmm not sure about the tape lovely. Can you not ring your clinic back and ask? Congratulations on healing so well btw x

No he didnt! I thought that was odd! They are practically invisible so I'm not worried but wondered how long you girls kept the tape on

I saw him too today. I've had an allergic reaction to dressing since said I don't need to use tape if I prefer :)

I have to wear tape for 4 weeks. I am such a baby at changing it so will be glad when I don't need it anymore!

Cool! I'm going to keep it on a bit longer as I don't like the idea of my bra on my scars yet!

I can't even see my scar iit's amazing how quick iv healed! Went okay. Still don't know if it will displace again yet. I'm dreading it :/ xox

hey Salmac - we had BA a day apart and almost the same - I had 290 anatomical unders!

I only have glue, no tape and won't see my ps until 6 weeks.. oh, and I don't know if mine have dropped or settled?!?!? - I wouldn't say so.. although I'm pretty crap as I haven't looked at anyone's pictrail as I don't know it's worth it as we are all different! You are the first post that has made me curious:)

I'm hoping they don't shrink as I like the size they are.. are you being told yours are going to stay the way they are now????

Hi Boodreams!
I've been rubbish and not taken any pics but mine have dropped / settled already. Maybe because they were used to being stretched already having BF 2 kids?! Who knows! I asked my surgeon the same thing today as I was worried they might get smaller, he said no that they'd stay pretty much the same size they are now & they may possibly fill out slightly lower pole.
I'm in a 34D 'soft ' sports bra & happy with that!

By tape to u mean micropore? I was given a roll of this and told to keep it on for 2/3 showers or until the adhesive wears off, until 7 weeks but I still wear it now for tanning and long baths xx

Yeah the thin strips of micro tape.i think it's to help keep the scars flat as possible. I'll call the clinic tomorrow! I'm not ready to take it off yet anyway.
