Hi girl's,

Hope you can help, probably a stupid question.

I have been told I have a kidney infection...the amount of pain I'm in I'm not convinced.

Could this effect my boobie healing?

Hi Huni x a kidney infection can cause a huge amount of pain. Have they given you more antibiotics?? I'm not sure about the healing, I wouldn't have thought it would affect your healing, just take extra care of yourself. I'm sure the lovely cookie will be able tell you more about the affects on the healing x

Shouldn't affect you hun. I suffer with UTIs a lot and they can be agony.xox

Yeh they can be really bad, I was hospitalized a few years ago with one the pain was unbearable!

I'm sure you'll be fine lovely - its true you have to be very careful with infection whilst healing to ensure its treated quickly and that the infection is cleared so be to sure to finish those anti-b's because of the risk of the infection travelling through the blood to the implant if the infection continues.

I'd be sure that both your GP and your surgeon are both aware of your BA and your infection so they can both keep a careful eye on you.

But I'm sure all will be good hun and you'll have nothing to worry about. Xx

O good I did think it would be ok.. This pain was so bad I couldn't breathe.. Sat in my local awful hospital. Loads of tests later....and its kidney infection. Never knew they could be so bad.

I can't lay on my back either......grrr..typical timing.

Ooh yea hun i got a kidney infection once and it was sheer h*ll! Antibiotics should kick it quickly though hunni!!!

I couldn't believe it. Moving and breathing hurts lol it actually woke me up lol

How I'll get the train and tube to work tomorrow I don't know. Have my 14 easy wound check.

Aw hun, I had to go to hospital for a kidney infection before too it was agony. I don't think I could have gone to work though until it eased off.
