Running
Hi, I would appreciate any thoughts on this topic! I was hoping to enter my first half marathon in October this year. It will be a big challenge for me to train for it etc. Lots of lengthy bouncy runs! But I have been keeping my eye on all the fitness/running etc posts. I know I will be banned from almost all exercise for 6 weeks which takes me to early June. That leaves about 4 months to get back up to speed and also increase to the level I will need. And I have read that running can leave boobs aching etc in first 6 months of healing. I just dont think it will be possible ? Is it even a good idea ever now to do something like that with new breast implants?! I know we are supposed to take care of them, do u think running say 3x a week for an hour is bad for them? Thanks! x

Re: Running
I run alot but still struggling to have a good run. if that makes sense. Im confident that in the future wearing a gd sports bra running will be doable again but it def takes time to get back into it. well it has for me xx

Re: Running
You'll be absolutely fine to return to your running lovely.
Whether you'll return to the fitness level you were pre-op in four months ready for the marathon, I don't know, this will depend on your healing lovely but it is possible if you heal well.
Future marathons - DEFINITELY! You'll just need to ensure you're wearing a very good sportsbra. I know many runners who wear the Triumph Triaction Extreme - them babies won't go anywhere in that bra hun! lol. X

Re: Running
Excellent point about Katie Price!!!
I don't run marathons but run for an hour a couple of times a week and have domne for the last week or so and am fine. My fitness is crap though after 6 weeks of nothing so not sure about how well you'll get up to speed??? xxx
