No time soon Hun, yes use your stomach muscles to help sit up etc but not proper sit up excerise Hun, 6 weeks , not only that doing a proper sit up will still pull on your chest muscles still. Begin thinking about excerise till after 6 weeks when you get the all clear for now focus on your healing, eating healthy, drink lots of water etc. x

I tried to get out of the 6 weeks when I saw my surgeon as its only a revision but was told NO WAY!! I have to wait 6 weeks again... its a drag but it does go quick and its worth it to protect your investment!

DEFINITELY no excercise for the six week recovery period hun. As tempting as it may be just think about how long you've waited for those boobs, how much and how hard you've saved for them, what you've put yourself through to get them...

No think about if you ever do feel tempted to excercise in any form and you hurt yourself.. Maybe set your recovery back, or worse that damage may require revision.

Because you didnt listen to the 'no excercise' for 6 weeks instruction this would then possibly void your aftercare.

Is it worth it?

Its best to just focus on your recovery hun to get the best boobs possible that you've hoped for, payed for and have done the best you can to help get them.

After that you can return to excercising lovely. It takes a bit of time to get back to your fitness levels that you were pre-op but you will and you will with bigger great looking boobs too! X

It seems like forever but 6 weeks does go quick! Last time I started the gym at 6 weeks but I did still feel it was a little early as I ached afterwards.

I used to go for long walks and do a dew standing leg exercises...that was more to keep them flexible. However, was told by my nurse that the reason is that the healing areas require extra oxygen as they are damaged but because they are damaged use the oxygen less efficiently. So by doing anything that raises heart rate it stops the wounds healing and can lead to damage and even stops things healing. I know its sounds fussy but honestly there is a reason behind it. xxx

Oh that definitely explains it Jay. I thought it was only to do with the actual damage u can cause through exercise and thought u could do things with the lower part of the body. But this definitely clarifies it for me. Thanx for the explanation xx

No trouble hon. Obviously high impact jumping around wouldn't do them any good either. Think we all sometimes forget we are having major surgery...just because we are choosing to do it. I had some good movies to watch and books to read and tried to focus on getting better.

Yeah, there are definitely things to keep us busy other than excersise. Just in my case since I got something fixed that I waited for a long time, I want to get the rest of the body to match lol.
