More than one cup size
Girls i had 390cc High profiles on the 22nd and the swelling is really starting to go down now but my boobs only look about a C cup. I was a small 34B before hand. 390's should take me up more than one cup size right??
I know im still really eary post but i cant help but worry ive spent all this money to still be un happy xx

Re: More than one cup size
Definitely! I think augmented boobs look smaller than they are especially looking down at them. I only went small am currently in a d sports bra but expect to be a full c maybe small d when settled. Mine look small more like a b cup. You had bigger implants than me and started with more too so don't worry.
What bra size are you in at the moment?

Re: More than one cup size
I am currently in a 34DD but it is getting to big now swellings going down so need to head to the shops to get a smaller one. I just dont wanna get there and end up having to buy one in a C. I am still wearing a bra extender where swelling is still around the ribs but now its getting loose in the cup. xxx

don't worry hun it's normal to think that so early post op. Just try to think positive thoughts, what i find really helpful is looking at my pre op pics to show just how far i've come. xx

Re: More than one cup size
We actually did an experiment on here a while ago now to see if augmented boobs do actually look 'smaller' than natural boobs. Members were shown a a number of different boobs and asked what size they though they were - the result was that augmented boobs look 'bigger' than natural boobs.
The problem with us Lisa is our perception of size and how the media has brain washed us with this DD approach which mostly all glamour models or big busted celebs seem to have. So when we ask for a say a DD from our surgeons and they look nothing like the DD our brains are trained to recognise from the media it does make us feel our boobs are inferior to what we should have which is like our brains are trained to see.
Truth is babe, these glamour models and big busted celebs are anything from an F cup upwards. This DD seems to be the most appealing size for women so their agents print what they think we want to read to make the models more appealing...
At 12 days post-op Lisa, although you think the swelling is settling, you will still have swelling there lovely and they have yet to drop and settle. 390CCs is a good size implant! And should take you to a good size lovely, but my advise would be not to focus on size.... Like I said, we've been brain washed by the media to perceive specific sizes and like what it happening with you now it just leads to upset.
Give your boobs the time they need to heal babe 'time' really is what you're never prepared for pre-op but is probably the most important thing needed post-op to help achieve a good result hun. Its best to put size aside and focus on how your boobs 'look' and right now at 12 days post-op I don't doubt you're not happy with them. Your skin is tight and holding the implant back, they're high and not at all what you expected at all..... But you keep taking pictures once a week Lauren and watch how the 'look' will change over time when you get to between 3 - 6 months they will have settled by then and they will 'look' sooooooo different to what you're seeing now babe.
Size is irrelevant hun. If you like what you're looking at that surely is what matters most and you have a way to go yet Lauren until you see the final result sweetheart. Xx
