Aww that's awfull! I took my 2 year old, I had no choice I had no one to look after him. He came to all of my appointments. Have they given you another appointment? X I do understand why they say no children, but they should make sure everyone is fully aware of their policy! X

a pre op is only simple things no needles nothing so I don't see why it should be such a problem how stupid x

Re: pre op appointment nightmare !
Transform do have signs in the waiting rooms lovely that state all children should have someone to look after them. Not exactly worded that way but along those lines sweetie, so whilst you're having your pre-op/consultation someone should look after your little hun.
I'm afraid the signs are clear and they do have a strict rule sweetie. xx

That's odd because my little boy came to my appointment at Enfield with me and there was another lady with 2 kids there. Maybe it depends o the hospital ?

Re: pre op appointment nightmare !
They should tell you beforehand i wasted about £10 petrol money and my morning getting there. shes ringing me back to check whether they can make an exception and my husbands trying to work out in work whether he can change an annual leave day for one day soon that fits in with the nurses schedule just so i can go to my pre op appointment just to have my blood pressure and weight checked sounds ridiculous doesnt it x

Re: pre op appointment nightmare !
Could your mum or possibly a friend not look after the little one for you whilst you go for your pre-op hun? X
Re: pre op appointment nightmare !
The pre ops aren't very long hun could you ask a friend or relative to help for an hour? Or even get a babysitter or a daycare? Don't think it's worth your hubby booking days off when you'll be gone an hour x

Awww that's a shame hun... You could have told a friend a little white lie and said you had a bad back and needed a consultation but couldn't take the little one because you were being examined?
A bad back also explains any hunching you Mohave early post-op too so it would all coincide with what you said anyway. X
