2 ops at same time?
hello lovely ladies. i am booking my consultation through mybreast soon and I had always planned to have my ears pinned at the same time as my boob op. a lady on here had the same thing done and she said she coped ok as her ears took longer to heal in the initial period so it took the focus off her boobs. however, im starting to think about how well i would cope having 2 ops done plus the practical things, a few ladies on here have suggested things like have a blow dry after the first week of their op to make them feel human lol, obviously i wouldnt being able to do this having the ears done too!
also, i'm thinking would it be detrimental for the surgeon to concentrate on two different ops in one, would i be leaving myself open to having a poorer result on both ears and boobs?
what do you think ladies? should i get it over in one go or go for 2 separate ops? xx

Re: 2 ops at same time?
Honestly, i found getting over one op hard enough in the early days!!!! - personally i wouldn't have wanted/couldn't have coped with both. Plus i agree with the thought that maybe the surgeon would be less thorough with each op! Also, i'm such a worrier and to worry about two recoveries at once would prob do my head in - and my OH's!!! x

If you feel a surgeon wouldnt concentrate on an op whether it be two or one, then you should not have that surgeon.
The good thing about 2 ops at the same time is its only one GA maybe slightly longer than the one op. The healing may be a bit longer but at least it's all over in one go.

I wouldn't worry about getting a poorer result, even if you just have your boobs done, you won't be your surgeons ONLY patient of the day, if you see what I mean, theyll have lots of procedures to do throughout the day whether they are all on you personally or on lots of different women. You have to trust that your surgeon will do their best on each procedure they do.
Plus you'll probably save money on theatre and anesthetists costs only going in once.
It'll be a rougher recovery, but it just all comes down to what you'd prefer. x

I think i would have it done in one, saves money in general and having to go through another GA, but its only you who can decide,,, xxxx

Re: 2 ops at same time?
hi ladies thanks for your input. ideally i do want the two done in one go, it does save on cost and with recovery i suppose at least i wont (hopefully if everything goes well first time round) have to go through two separate ops that way! xx

Re: 2 ops at same time?
I would have both done in one go, as the other girls have said, if your not confident with your surgeon doing both ops at the same time you probably wouldn't want him doing either! Your ops won't be rushed, he will allow time for each op. I have heard of girls having both a BA and a TT at the same time x x good luck Huni xx
