seriously - should I look before or not?
seriously - should I look or not? I was promoted to 'active' member a few days ago, but have been on here for some weeks, so got used to having to ignore the picturetrail threads as I had no access.. now I can look - should I? I'm kind of thinking I shouldn't... maybe wait?
Is it more of a reassurance to look when one headlight is pointing down and one boob has entirely shifted south?

Re: seriously - should I look before or not?
Personally.... Unless you want to look to see what to expect from surgery in terms of swelling/wonkiness/odd shaped boobs early post-op there's no point looking.
They're of no interest to you in terms of sizing at all because chances are you won't ever be the same after surgery as another woman, even that of a woman with the same sized stats and implants size.
So... If you'd like to look to see what you may expect, then it may good to look so you're prepared for what to expect after surgery hun as so many think you instantly have these perfect set of boobs and a 'very small'. Few do, but for the majority of us, that's not going to happen at all. Xx

I agree with a Cookie! I've found it really useful to get an idea of what to expect.
Before I joined this site I naively thought it was a near in out job.
I've seen a few and found it gave me far more info for all the changes.

I'm tempted to wait. If it was something I could 'do' - then I get it. But as its a sit back and wait process, then I just have to wait regardless. I am hoping I will find reassurance as and when I need it and I know that's when the pictrails will be a godsend.

I do think it's extremely useful for post oppers, in the early days seeking out pics in order to see what sort of changes are ahead are a god send. I must admit I did look pre op but then I am one of those people that needs to see everything, I even annoy myself at how much stuff I google. I even google legislation, laws and rules?
Re: seriously - should I look before or not?
Im investing all my spare time in searching before and after pics and pics of boobies after the op and how they change shape as you develop through the healing process. My partner thinks im pocessed and i think hes right!! My boobies are literally all im thinking about and talking about at the moment and i havent even had the consultation with the surgeon that is likely to be doing them yet. Ive had 4 others but had negative experiences with them so this one is who im banking my hopes of.
Wish me luck!
All the best.

Lol Yolanda your post sounds familiar.
I'm obsessed with boobs aswell !! I know my OH gets annoyed by it but I would rather be like then not research enough. Its too important not to.
Plus the girls offer so much info and support on here. Best thing I did was join this forum.
The girls on here are the only ppl in my world who know my true bra size.... That's not a lie. You will always feel accepted on here.
Sorry I'm stealing the post lol and got carried away. Here here

Hello Kenzie1985.
When its to do with your body, I think you'd be stupid not to do the research! And man, have I done the research!! Im on here everyday after work and on my days off trying to find more info and real life experiences. Also im sifting through internet page after internet page.
OBSESSED.COM!!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who does it. I am also finding myself getting very jealous of others about to have their BA's (cough cough you*) LOL. But I know my day will come soon enough!
TRY TO BE PATIENT, TRY TO BE PATIENT. I actually chant this to myself when I get too impatient.
Your right though. This site is a god send. I am so happy that it exists and that I found it!
God bless all those involved in it! We love you all lol.

thanks Tink - that's what I meant. I was asking you post-op ladies as you're the ones who have the experience.
Research and looking at pics of other people's healing is not the same thing and serve very different purposes
