Just seen
My scars for the first time! They very small which I'm happy with but I'm a bit concerned as they are really lumpy and hard as rock! Is this normal? Feels like scabs that I could easily pick off.. Obviously I'm definitely not going to but that's just how they feel. Also on the end of my right one there is a stitch like a big loop that I can physically touch?? Don't know if that makes much sense but please help hah! xxx

Re: Just seen
All is fine hun. The stitch you're feeling though, it might be an idea to make an appointment with the clinic nurse just to have it snipped. Its nothing to worry about, sometimes stitches raise to the surface and they need a little help to come out.
The hardness and lumpiness too is very normal. When you get to around 4-6 weeks post-op you'll be able to start massaging the scars and be able to breaks down the scar tissue which is the hardiness you're feeling and they'll heal to a nice neat flat line. Xx

Re: Just seen
Just thought i would say that your avi is amazing =] your scars will start getting smaller and fade with time but if you're ever worried then just ring up you're clinic, remember that you've paid for the aftercare just as much as anything else =] x
