Rib pain- normal?
Hiya girls,
I'm 7 weeks post op today, and still every night am getting very sore ribs, in one place in particular- it feels a very deep pain, and I've noticed it more since I tried to not wear a bra during the night, and have been being intimate with bf without bra on.
Obviously I'm now wearing the sports bra during the night, as for some reason it almost completely stops the pain.
Did any of you experience this? Do you know why it might be?
I know my ps put stitches in the muscles on my ribs to hold the pocket, so maybe those are getting pulled when I'm lying on my side without a bra on?
I'm just nervous it could be an infection, but that's silly as there's no redness or itching, nothing at all showing on the skin to make it seem like its even bruised.
Really hope it doesn't go on too much longer, as would love to be able to be braless a bit more often!
Thanks for any advice/suggestions...

Re: Rib pain- normal?
You're fine hun
MANY of us suffer rib pain due to the close dissection over the ribs and it can take a long time for the healing and swelling to settle down. It took months for my rib pain to settle, but it does hun so don't worry, it WILL feel better as your body continues to heal. Xx

At 7 weeks you're still healing a lot internally. It takes months and months for everything to settle and pretty much get back to normal feeling no pain or discomfate x
