Surprised
at how calm Ive been since booking my BA, Im not the slightest bit nervous! Ive not really thought about it much or even had a dream about it! Considering how nervous I was on my consultations and booking I thought Id be a complete wreck.
Suppose its a good thing, right? x

I did it that way round too, couldn't sleep before consultation but the night before my op I had an early night and a great night sleep lol I thought nerves would hit me at some point but they didn't, not until they wheeled me to theatre but wasn't any going back then anyway haha just enjoy the run up to the op now :) xx

Re: Surprised
I was calm too until the night before my 1st BA. Cried hysterically for hours. Then on 2nd BA, I cried on the operating table.

Re: Surprised
I'm not nervous yet... So excited and just can't wait until the day I get mine done. This time in 2 weeks my boobs will be here :) I'm sure as soon as I get to the point of going down to theatre I will totally freak out though xx

Re: Surprised
I was the same just went along not thinking about it but when I did was very excited. You've got a fab surgeon and once it's done you'll be soooooo pleased. I was anxious on the day with butterflies everything someone came in the hospital room but you'll be fine x x

Re: Surprised
I know what you mean about being "calm"! I am normally SUCH a nervous person when it comes to anything medical but for me it was almost like being on autopilot.. I'd made the decision to do it and that was that.
My mum was more nervous than me as she came with me.
I knew I wanted this done so much and all I kept thinking about was the end result.
Walking into the operating theatre I did think - "oh heck" but next thing I was waking up and it was all done...
Well done for staying calm you emotions will be up and down no doubt but main thing is to focus on the result xxx

Re: Surprised
Loco,
Hey hun I've been back at work and had a busy week so not been on here for a while :0(
I agree with the last comment though just think this is what you've wanted for so long and you will be nervous once you're there and go down to theatre but before you know it you'll be awake again with lovely new boobs :0)
