Bood_ I think the rice bags can give you an idea but always seem biger than the actual sizers, which are obviously more accurate although the volume is the same. I filled some pop socks with the 2 volumes the ps recomended. You can wear them inside a sports bra for however long and road test them. Perhaps more comfy than bags too. Hope that helps :O) x

Thanks Nikkinoo - I'd have to buy bras first as I only have the ones I wear now & they won't take much of much. I think I'll pass & see what the sizers feel like next week. Is that crap of me? Does everyone do the rice test????

Not at all, for me it worked as a starting point. I was suggested 190 or 240. When I tried the rice test I thought the 240 was HUGE and was dead set against them and wanted the 190. When it came to sizers the 240 felt the same size as the 190, wierd seen as its the same volume. Anyways, Im going for the 240s now. It was a huge difference but can give you an idea. I even went running with mine in lol x

But that sounds like the rice was misleading if you went with what the rice indicated you shouldn't go with - no?!

I think I'll ask for some time alone with my sizers!!! It's not every day you get asked to decide what boobs look & feel best right there and then.

It was a bit miss leading but reminded me what having boobs again would feel like and what I def didnt want. so I was able to go to my consultand say I hated this size because.... Also I found there wasnt enough time to spend 10 mins looking in the mirror on my own with each sizer in. Once I tried the sizers I could compare them to the rice bags and spent time at home with the colsest comparable rice bag size in. Dose that make sense? x

I wouldn't bother I did rice with 300cc and it wasn't accurate, it's a nice way to get your excited and get your head around having boobs but mine aren't anything like the size or profile I have, remind me tonight and I'll show u the difference as I took pics with rice boobs :) the problem is your surgeon can only guide, mine told me I might end up a C, D or an E from 290 and I've got from D to C to DD and if I fluff out I might be an E. Just find a good surgeon you trust and let them do the maths. A size C in one shop can be a D or a B in others, it isn't worth getting too hung up about :) xx

I had 300 and I'm now DD/E my friend had 240 from a 32 b and is also now DD and I think hers look bigger than mine.. Just to put a spanner in the works there haha xx

Oh bloody hell confusing me even more now lol I'm a 30 a I just don't want to come out and be disappointed with it, I'm sure the surgeon knows what he is doing tho xx

My rice boobies looked a lot bigger than they do having now had them. Rice is really heavy too so they kind of "feel" bigger... xx

Thing is its easy to get greedy, I wanted to go for 300 and when I did the rice test I thought they looked good until I did a smaller set and they looked better. Made me remember what I was doing it for and how I wanted to look bra-less!! Hard to imagine with only rice to help! So tricky, but as I said at least it gave me an idea to go back to the surgeon with.

Implants do look smaller clothed, my DDs look like a C and in my backless dress looked like a B, don't be too conservative x

I'm totally not into the messing about with rice thing! That's partly my personality though too Blush

And yes CharFaye - there are spanners all over this decision-making process aren't there!!

Whichever implant company comes up with disposable sizers that can be included as part of the process - would be on to a wise thing.

Everyone has been SO helpful on this topic and I have been able to narrow it down to definitely staying under 300cc!! I was considering 310cc, but think 290cc will do me just fine. Going from flat-chested to anything is going to be just fantastic. Now where are those sizers while I just make sure.... ha

I would def listen to your surgeon. I got measured last night and didn't realise how tricky it is to find the right sized implant. Due to my narrow chest I have to have Extra high profiles. The surgeon thinks 360 will give me what I want but is ordering a size below and a size above and he will go with what fits and looks best. I completely trust him to give me the closest to what I want that works for my body .

So as long as your surgeon knows what you want I would go with his recommendation.

I've had 225's put in as I was a AA size and uneven so that was what I was given for my frame and body shape. True they are small c cup but very natural for me and those who don't know about ba are lone the wiser I've had it done as its so natural x

It seems that all of you who have had under 300cc have a small chest frame/build. Really starting to worry even more whether 270cc is big enough for me! :/ xx
