How much did your confidence soar after your op?
I'm booking my op towards the end of this year once I've got finances in order, finished my degree, etc. i feel like ive waited a lifetime to have this done as i always talked myself out of surgery feeling scared about the pitfalls but ive been asymmetric (A and D cup) for as long as i can remember and its always massively dented my confidence. I'm hoping that this op will give me that much needed boost I need to stop holding me back.
What difference has having new boobs done for you girlies? did u find it changed you as a person in terms of being more confident/outgoing or do you just feel happier in general with the results? x

Hi there, congrats on making the decision! It sounds like it will do wonders for your confidence! I am very early days and as yet it hasn;t improved my confidence "in private" with partner as I feel a bit unatrractive with the granny bras etc. But out and about I am miles more confident already. Not self conscious anymore and feel like a "real woman" (not to say that boobs make a woman but for me personally I always felt less of one since I lost my boobs after breast feeding).
Good luck!!! xxxxx

It didn't make me any more confident, I'm still shy, I still hate my big butt and I'm still the same person. It did help me feel more feminine, I feel a lot more confident in clothes and it has made me a bit happier and changed that part of my life for the better. I also got to be part of this lovely forum which I love. It also gave me an obsession for bras lol. My BA also gave me the idea to start my own online lingerie boutique, so yes my BA has given me a lot.
Re: How much did your confidence soar after your op?
I've had my ups and downs with my BA.
At first I was over the moon, my confidence soared and I couldn't have been happy. I think getting the booby attention I'd never had in my life was amazing....and then after about a year the novelty wore off and I hated my boobs. I hated the size and that they were so prominent so would always get attention and I abhorred the attention then. So much that I constantly tried to cover my boobs and went back to being very booby conscious.
I had a re-op and feel much better since. I'm still not 100% happy, I'd like them smaller still, but they aren't the first thing people see when I walk in a room anymore. They've made me happy and given me an inner confidence I never had before. Its more the feeling of femininity than anything else.
Just being able to feel like how I perceive a woman should be feels soooooo good.
It doesn't take away any other body issues though, so don't expect a magical transformation babe, all those insecurities are still there after surgery, but its nice to just be able to feel good about something that you're not happy about. Xx

Re: How much did your confidence soar after your op?
Mmmmh in my case, the first days I felt much more confident and loved the size! But now that the swelling is all gone and I got used to them I start to find them quiet small, especially in clothes, I sometimes even forget I had a BA because I look pretty much the same than before with padded bras...also the fact that they are still very firm and that my bf is not crazy about them at all for this reason, hasn't helped to cheer me up much ... but i keep optimist thinking about the summer, when i can wear more t-shirts and bikinis I'm sure I'll be much happier and confident... I don't regret my decision at all anyway, otherwise I'd always wonder how they'd had look like if I had done it

hi ladies, thanks for your responses. there are some good points made about having body issues even after the op and ill always dislike certain things like my big thighs lol but i do hope that having new and, more importantly, even boobs will help me to feel more confident and feminine in general and this is what im hoping for.its a while off for me yet but im looking forward to hopefully feeling more positive :) xx

Re: How much did your confidence soar after your op?
I think its a good point to remember that you shouldn't expect your BA to solve all body issue problems- those come from somewhere deeper than just thinking you have a big bum or something.
However, I have felt so much more confident and feminine since my op, and much more powerful. I feel like I have the boobs I should have had, and that makes me feel much more at peace with myself.
It sounds like you have a pretty big difference between boobs, and I dont doubt that having surgery will take away that worry for you, as you will feel 'normal'!! I had deformed breasts before my surgery, and now I feel normal, and just so much happier for it!
Good luck hun

hi silver panther, thats great to hear that you feel more feminine after surgery. i do appreciate that ill always hate my thighs, wobbly bits etc but its never really got me down coz i just dress to suit them, those things can be hidden lol :) however the only thing to correct the boobs is surgery and i feel now ive finally made the decision to do it, im longing to get that feeling of being a 'real woman'! xx
