6 days after op..
I have a work course to attend there are 3 parts to the course one which I have done one on Thursday and the last on the 12th march..
1. Will I be okay to go to the course? - it's nothing strenuous just sitting down listening all day basically...
2. Will I be able to drive its half an hour away, or should I get the train? Travel is funded so either option is find just want to plan in advance.
Thanks ladies xxxx

Re: 6 days after op..
I'd see how you feel on the day I guess, but don't let it compromise your recovery. If you have a bag to take and heavy doors to open it just wouldn't be worth it. Plus you have to think of the worry of people knocking into you.
I had a job interview on day 6 and I shouldn't have gone. So learn from my mistakes!
I'd say no to the driving, I drove 3 mins down the road on day 6 in my automatic Smart car (so very, very light) and it was bad, I didn't feel I had control of the wheel properly, like I wouldn't have felt safe turning a sharp corner or anything.

Re: 6 days after op..
I guess you have to let them know in advance to be able to book you a place. Is there any way you can miss the 1st and go to the others. I know you'd probably be fine but maybe just in case.
Re: 6 days after op..
I definitely wouldn't commit yourself hun. If you do have to book a place now, then I'd decline it. Its best you say no now than simply not turn up if you're unable because that then won't look good for you.
I think 6 days post-op is a little early hun.... But then there are some that have amazing recoveries! They are few though. Xxx

I wouldn't commit hun. I would have felt fine to just sit there on day 6, but I drove on day 6 and it was a struggle. It really depends!
