bottoming out??
hey girls i am now 8 weeks post op saturday past and have been given the all clear from my surgeon, my righty is still a bit tight, but left fine however i have always thought my nipples were a bit on the high side but over the past couple of days they seem even higher and abnormally high when i raise my arms, im now worried it may be bottoming out, have finally done a pic trail and updated it today with new pics at 8 weeks po, was wondering if some of you girls can take a look and tell me if u think its bottoming out or if i just have naturally high nipples? i feel my scars are also high up as they dont sit in the crease (are they ment to) x

Re: bottoming out??
Hi, Im only a few weeks post op and one of my scars is higher that the other and Im sure its getting higher and the implant getting lower, if that makes sense. Also thought it may be bottoming out, could I take a look at your pics please x
Also have your scars always been in that position ?

Re: bottoming out??
At 8 weeks post-op you're still probably dropping and settling. As your boobs do drop you may very well the scars move into the crease and your nipples sit in a more central position lovely.
Did you discuss your concerns with your surgeon hun?

I'll have a look if you like?
I thought I might be bottoming out in the early days as my nipples are quite high too, it doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem, sometimes they just look weird for a while during the dropping process. x

Re: bottoming out??
Can i take a look? I have a different worry nippples being too low and think they should be where they are when I raise my arms, but cant walk about like that ...lol! I wouldnt worry too much about the inscisons as your boobs drop and settle they drop down further towards the crease. One of mine has and it was quite high up early post op, but my other is a worry too as it wasnt on the the boob imedietly post op it was just below more on my rib and still is as I dont think with gravity theres much chance of it moving upwards, but it is fading and maybe if my boob drops more the boob itself will cover it(hopefully). These darn boobs can be a worry to the point I'm exploring what to do next about mine. This is abit off subject I am re searching some scottish based surgeons should I need another op Ben Chew is one that I.m interested in who did you see him through?XXX

Hi I'll take a look if you like. It was about that time I thought I was bottoming out, with one scar higher than the other and my nipples higher than I thought they should be. Now at 3 and a bit months the scar has dropped into the crease and I think the nipples look in the right place. Is it uncomfortable at all? X

Re: bottoming out??
Hiya I've had a look and I don't think it looks like bottoming out, I think it just looks like they're settling, and your nipple position looks fine, I'm not sure why it goes up when you raise your arm though, as my whole boob including implant goes up a bit when I raise my arms, not just the nipple, I don't know which one of us is normal there!
Generally though yours look great and I can't see any problem. x

Re: bottoming out??
Hi Hun, had a look, what a ba gives you is a bigger version of what you already had, and your nipples are quite high already.
If you do have concerns Hun don't be afraid to go back to see your surgeon. You still have a lot more healing and settling to do but it doesn't look as bad youre thinking and my scars are also on my boobs a bit only by a cm or so , when it becomes neatly an inch which is what I had then definatly go back for his opinion x

Re: bottoming out??
I agree with the others sweetie xx
If your nips were high before they will be after you have your implants xx
I personally have just had mine pulled down so that the implant is lower and my nips are higher xx
I think also we all find our nips go up when we raise out arms??
Don't panic but if its bothering you go and see you PS that's what I did and together we sorted it :) xx

Re: bottoming out??
Hi just had a look and you look exactly as I did at around 8 weeks AND I had/ still have sometimes a pulling feeling. All I can say is that was me a few weeks ago and I didn't bottom out, things just settled and moved around and are still doing so. So try not to worry ( says the expert worrier!!) I'm sure all will be just great in a few more monthsxx please keep us updated xx
