Pre Op assessment??
Evening all,
Just wondering what exactly happens at the pre op assessment- have googled it and there's all sorts of crazy tests X-rays etc coming up!
Also how long on average do they take need to build up some flexi time in work before so I don't have to use my annual leave.
Thanks x

Re: Pre Op assessment??
Its nothing at all to be concerned about hun.
You'll have your pre-op pics taken then you'll sit down with the clinic nurse, you'll be asked your height and weight so they can ensure you have a healthy BMI and they'll go over your medical history with you. Depending on your medical history further tests may be required just to ensure you're fit for surgery hun, such as maybe blood tests, or MRSA swabs done maybe an ECG etc.. But if you're fit and well none of these will be done, although some clinics prefer to do bloods anyway.
Overall though hun its simply a chat about your health, that's all babe. Xx
