Tommorrow!!!!!

My boobie day is actually tomorrow!! Wow if has flown round quickly just one more day or work, and then packpackpack for my hospital stay!! Nerves are only kickin in slightly, but im sure they will kick in properly tommorrow when im sat it my hospital room! Any last minute tips girls?

Ah how exciting hun! No tips really just make sure you have everything ready tonight so theres no last minute panics and have a nice long shower/bath as you wont be able to enjoy them for a week or so!

Woohoo! Good luck hun you will probably be quite calm tomorrow, make sure you have a pillow and zip up top for the journey home and some sweeties x

Emz you'll be fine..BMI nurses are lovely. The hospitals are very nice! Just make sure you have some easy to get into but cool...cos its pretty warm in the rooms..pjs to get into! Def need a vippy hoodie!

O tried sleep slightly up right last night with my v pillow just to try and see if i could do it... ha i woke up with the v pillow above my head! and on my side as usual.. rubbish, hopefully i'll have better luck when i have my little obstacles!

Honestly you'll be absolutely fine - i'm 2 days post op now and i feel absolutely amazing. like i've got a permanent smile on my face!!
The pain is nothing - I haven't even had any pain just a little aching and I thought sleeping a bit upright would be a problem too (as i normally sleep curled up in a ball on my side!) and have slept like a baby both nights without any problem and haven't moved at all - I think my subconscious knows not to dare move onto my side and squash my babies!!! trust me, you will have the greatest day and you will love your new boobies so much. I actually wish I could do it all again, it was that good an experience!! ha! Have a great day and i'll be thinking of you.
My main tip is just to drink lots and lots of water/tea after your surgery, it makes you feel really relaxed and makes sure you're washing out all the ga, i haven't stopped drinking tea since i've come out of my op!!

pillow for any kind of seat belt

nice baggy tops

wash your hair on the morning you have it done so you get optimum clean hair days before it goes greasey. keep it tied back and out the way at all times.

make sure anything you need is easily accessible without lifting your arms much(got that tip from another member from here and its FANTASTIC) i even have my bedside table lamp switch blue tac'd to the top of the table so i can easily switch it on and off.

and make sure you lift up your top or dressing gown before shuffling backwards onto a seat or into bed otherwise the collar tightens round your neck and you have to do it all over again ;)

new batteries in the tv remote ;)

oh and don't drop toast crumbs on your chest and forget they're new boobies and brush them down like i did on day 1.....not cool.

oh that and keep something tasty next to your bed in the night cos if you wake up in the middle of the night and want a painkiller you wont have to get up to eat first or even worse wait until breakfast (just make sure you don't over-do the dosage etc)
