Hi
Im so glad you discussed the Frankeinboobs , when do the boobs start to drop and soften, is it weeks or months?
i have a very hard, sharp brown-ish pieces of something (could it be dried blood?) that keeps digging in me under my dressing, so i have slight peeled my dressing back and put a cotton pad under it, has any one any suggestions as to what it could be??

It'll be dried blood sweetness and your stitches will probably need snipping when you go back for your wound check hun. You feel absolutely nothing when this is done so dont worry about it babe.

Your recovery is going to take 'months' babe. Its a slow process but if your prepared for the wait its not such a problematic one sweetheart, where you're waking every day over the first few weeks expecting your miracle boobs but the wait goes on lol.... If you're prepared for the wait and take your recovery a day at a time it soon goes over Nicola. I'd say around 3 months before you start seeing your final results, but they go on softening for a further 3 to 6 months and yours scars are going to take well over a year to fully recover hun.

One thing I will say hun is that you don't peel back your dressings, even if they do feel uncomfortable. The last thing you want to be doing is disturbing the wound in the early stage of its healing as the skin is trying to knit together. If you're finding your dressings very uncomfortable Nicola you'd be bes calling your clinic and asking them for advise. Xx
