Re: ouuchie!!
I can feel my nipples but not the area underneath to my incisions, some people it does come back and others not. Everything else sounds normal though, try and take it easy xx

Re: ouuchie!!
my lefty is still partly numb and I am over two weeks post op. It was more swollen as well and has been generally more painful and swollen throughout. I checked with my nurse and everything is fine. I just took a course of anti inflammatory. I have seen on here that it can take up to a year for sensation to fully return, so I don't think it is anything to worry about hun. xx

Re: ouuchie!!
Days 3-5 were the worst for me. And the numbness is normal, most people get the feeling back, some don't. x

Even though your sleeping through from being in one position all night your bound to wake up a bit stiff, try sleeping with a pillow under your knees to help.
As for numbness my lefty is still all numb belt the nipple and the nipple itself! Don't worry you should get the sensation back a small percentage don't but give it best part of a year an should be pretty much back to normal. It's the nerves that have been damaged and skin stretched .
As for swelling its having 2 separate operations one on your right and one on your left they will heal at different rates .
And what are you doing shopping at 2days post op missus?! rest Hun you've had a major operation. By all means not total bed rest and try and have a short walk but around the house or garden ! No shopping yet babe x get a home delivery for the next week x

Re: ouuchie!!
You're very early to going the shops lovely...running before you learn to walk comes to mind lol, so your boobs will ache because of your overdoing it hun.
Ensure you're in a good supportive bra that's keeping them nice and stable and just start out with 'short walks' hun, building your body up as it heals and gives you enough strength to do more.
The numbness: well, it can take a year or two for all sensation to return and I know of only 2 women in the time I've been here (over 3 years) and seen thousands of women come through who have not had sensation return. So at your stage in your recovery hun, you're still VERY early days and have plent of time ahead of you yet for it to return. Xx
