Post by rk19 12th February 2013, 11:56 am

Hi girls,
I've noticed my implants have started to move up with i move around, i ignored it and didnt bother me until now. When i lie down my left implant pops up under my collar bone, giving a very hard implant edge i can see and feel.
I can also see it with slight muscle movement, which gives a really odd shape and makes boobs look flat.
Many of you would have read i'm having issues with thnking how high they are anyway, but now the implant moving is making it worse!
Could i possibly have mild CC? or has something else gone wrong? Anyone else experienced this? please Implant moving up on chest - help! 476424

It sounds more like muscle distortion lovely

This happens generally with women who are quite muscular up top or have an athletic body, the muscle is so tight that make the implant jump as the muscle contract and causes the implant to make the breast look like an odd shape.

I'd suggest you go back and speak with your surgeon sweetheart. Its nothing to panic over so you don't have to immediately pick up the phone, it quite a common problem for those with the body types I explained and can often be resolved by placing the implants over the muscle hun. Xx

Good lord!!

I'm not even a sporty person!! This sucks, I joined the gym only a few months ago, and only do some running, yoga etc.

I do hope they give me a call back soon. I had partial unders - what part of the implant is over and under the muscle?

The top of your implant is held by the muscle and the bottom is released but still covered by muscle, no part of your implant is over the muscle lovely. Xx

Our other Admin, nads had the same problem and being a very slim girl was concerned about going over the muscle too. But it was possible and her muscle distortion was immediately resolved and she was much happier with her result... So its very possible even for very slim women with little breast tissue to go over the muscle... But its something you need to chat with your surgeon about babe. Xx

Cookie the diagram you've shown is great, thanks! But you know my boobs actually look upside down - lol - so totally full at top and nothing at bottom.
also the implant moving gives a really strange feeling, and almost a slight throbbing pain - nothing unbearable though.

Ok that is great to know, that i have a chance.

It doesnt impact ability to breastfeed having implants over? Sorry i used to know this stuff when i did my research before, but then u get happy and comfy with boobs you forget they're implants, until you have a problem!

No going over the muscle shouldn't affect your ability to breast feed babe, the glands and milk ducts that produce the milk won't be severed at all so it'll be fine babe don't worry about that. Xx
