My boobie update
I arrived with my fella in Bromsgrove at about 7.40 yesterday morning, was taken straight to my room and was told I was first on the list! Had a quick shower, surgeon and medical team came in, went over procedure, did paperwork, pics and drawings on me etc. Nurse came and took me to theatre at 9.10 and I am still amazed at how calm I was! Needle went in and that was it I woke up in recovery and was back in my room by about 11. I had the support strap on and the nurse and my fella put on my bra, 32DD,which seems to fit quite nicely, and took some sneaky pics.
After about an hour I had a drink then something to eat, felt a little bit sick but it soon passed. Spent the day just relaxing no real pain just a little sore and tender, not really in my boobs but my tummy muscles? Hubby left about 6 as the snow started and its a 2 hour drive. Surgeon came back in the evening, said all was fine and I would be discharged in the morning. Slept quite well and was still comfortable in the morning. Had some breakfast then nurse gave me all the discharge stuff and the transport came to pick me up and I was home by about 10.30.
Feel a bit uncomfy and a bit squashed, but still no real pain. Nurse said to take of the strap and bra to have a little wash, and a peek and pic of course, then bra and strap back on. Feeling a bit emotional, and nervous as to what they going to look like, My hubby was impressed yesterday so fingers crossed I will be too.
So hope to be posting on here tomorrow to tell you all i'm still comfy and that I love my boobies
