Am booked in with Dr Kazzazi at MYA
So I'm all booked in with Dr Kazzazi through MYA on April 14th! Eeeeek!!!
I was really confident about putting my deposit down, but now I have (1 week ago), I'm really nervous, as in everyday since, I've been feeling anxious and nervous and am in serious anticipation of the op. I'm not scared about the GA or the pain after or anything, but am just worried it won't come out how I picture it to. I'm confident in him but I'm worried his vision of end result is different to mine?
Also I've got to decide if I want the implants over or under the muscle, Dr Kazzazi said its up to me! Aggghh!! How can it be up to me, he's the surgeon! He said I am on the fence, and that I have an average amount of breast tissue (I thought I was a B cup but he said I am more of a C) and can have either under or over the muscle and its up to me.
So I'm reeeally confused about what to do, although from reading lots of posts on here and doing research, I think I want over.... and in the consultation I told him I would prefer over.... I had 2 other consultations before him at Transform and they both said over so I think I should go with the majority. Or do I get one more consultation and see.... I don't want him to veer towards unders because that's what he usually does, I want him to tell me what placement I should have. I thought he was supposed to make that decision??
Anyway this is a really long confused post so I shall stop there.
Thanks for reading my first proper post. x

You're absolutely right Ktwin. You're paying for your surgeons expert opinion! HE should be advising you which would be the best placement for you. Saying 'he's on the fence'! has got to be the most shocking thing I've heard out of a surgeons mouth yet!
I suggest you make another appointment with your surgeon Ktwin and make it very clear that you want a decision from him regarding your placement. Saying he's on the fence isn't good enough. He has to take responsibility for his own surgery plan or he really shouldn't be making one for you at all!!!
If your surgeon still insists the decision is yours rather than taking responsibility for this himself, I'd suggest you complain to MYA and request another surgeon hun. Xx

Congrats on booking but the others are right, he's the surgeon, he should be the expert, and making that decision for you

Thanks girls, I do feel like he should be making the decisions.
Also I don't think I wrote it correctly, but he said 'you are on the fence for over or under' meaning its up to me to choose whether I wanted to go over or under the muscle. Sorry I wasn't clear when I wrote that in my first post.

Re: Am booked in with Dr Kazzazi at MYA
Ok so on the strength of you ladies advice I've made another consultation appointment with Dr Kazzazi on March 2nd (my surgery is booked for April 14th) and also made one with Dr Frati for Feb 28th.
Am going to take a pic I found of some beautiful boobies so he can see exactly the end result I want and then ask him which is better to achieve this; under or over.
If he says under the muscle I am going to be in two minds even more because I'm pretty sure I can have over...
I'm starting to feel like I should have waited to put my deposit down....
I've been looking into this for more than 5 years though so I think I have researched enough, maybe I am just being indecisive and his lack of direction is making me worse?

I think you've done the right thing hun. We have a consultation notebook also in the Breast Augmentation Information section of the forum that might help you also. If you have any problems printing it off just let me know and I can email it to you if you'd like.
Taking the pictures in with you helps give a good clear idea of what you want, so you should expect a surgeon to give you a good clear idea of what they can do for you and how they're going to do it lovely.
Suggesting YOU choose parts of your surgery plan could possibly cause problems for you later should you have a complication hun, when you could possibly hear... "Well, you chose to go under/over"
Make sure your surgeon takes responsibility for you surgery babe. Any of us with enough breast tissue could be asked the same, but if you do have enough breast tissue then going over the muscle is going to be the best option, but its an option the surgeon should be suggesting and if he's not... He's relinquishing responsibility for the choice and putting that alllllll on YOU!
Claiming aftercare should you need it due to complication can sometimes leave girls with a bit of a fight on their hands... Don't leave anything open for them to come back to with the possibility of refusal babe - your surgeons the expert, your surgeon should choose, your surgeon should take responsibility, then should you be unlucky to have a complication, your surgeon is the one who has to answer for it! Xx
