Stabbing pains.... 3 weeks post op
Hi,
Since Sunday evening, I've been getting a few stabbing pains in my boobs. Mainly in the left but now the right one too today.
The pain is in the area of the incision.
I've studied my scars long and hard in the mirror and they look fine. No holes, inflammation, redness etc. Both incisions look the same.
I've been recommended to clean my incisions twice a day with antiseptic wipes and after I've cleaned the left one, it stings a bit.
The left incision also hurts when I'm lying on my side.
Has anyone else had this?
Was going to ring the nurse but not sure if I'm overreacting???
Thanks
Marie

I had stabbing pains all over my boobs, only one at a time but I never knew where it was going to strike next. Could be really painful at times and kept me awake. I had a little pain in righty when led on my left side, and just as I was writing this leftie decided to give me a stabbing pain near the scar. I worried like you, but it's just the nerves knitting back together.

I had stabbing pains too hun, they are quite sudden at times and painful but it shows you're healing

It certainly will! Maybe take some anti-histamine to try and take the edge off the itching.
It'll all be worth it in the end!

I agree when I asked about itching AP reccomended the anti-histamines. They really did help. It drove me mad.
