FLAPPING!
I have a really huge event coming up in 6 weeks, when ill be 8 weeks post op.. I am seeing surgeon before so will check with him anyway.
But this event is huge for me.. I have a lovely outfit already. Is a beautiful jasper Conran dress and matching jacket.. Bought post op but it fits fine..
Only issue is my bra.... It's likely I'll still be in sports bras then, I was wondering if ill be able to wear a non wired support bra (not sports bra) for one day... Ill have the opportunity afterwards to go to the loo and get changed and changed bra. But a sports bra will totally ruin my outfit.. There's going to be so many people taking photos and what not...
Do you think I could wear a normal bra no wire just whilst I'm doing what I have to do and then change before I leave to go home? I'm totally flapping about it :(

Re: FLAPPING!
I think you should ask your surgeon if its OK. It they think its fine then you have the go ahead! If not..... NO, I wouldn't go against my surgeons instruction. Especially with you having a re-op to make this right for you this time Kuru. It would be a shame to go through all this recovery and then possibly put yourself back because you didnt listen to instruction and in not listening to instruction you risk losing any aftercare you might have lovely.
So said you're seeing your surgeon, so take it from there lovely but I'd be prepared just incase you got a no. Xx

Re: FLAPPING!
Some surgeons won't allow wires or 'normal' bra's (even non-wired) until 12 weeks, others 6/8, so definitely go with what he tells you x

Re: FLAPPING!
No it's not at all it's a suit dress.. Collar bone but it won't look very shapely with me strapped up. I'm happy to hear what he has to say and will follow his rules.. My macom gives me an okay shape so think ill wear that if I can't anything else.
It's such a huge deal for me.. Hope my jacket does up lol
