Best age to have them done?
Hi all, I know this might sound like a silly question but I don't know how long to wait until I have my boobs done, I'm 25 now and friends think I should wait until after having children or until around the 30 mark. I don't know if I can wait that long but I know what they mean, my boobs are going to go naturally even more saggy than they are now and if I have them done now there going to sag more because there'll be more weight to them. Any advice from anyone who's been in a similar position? Help

Re: Best age to have them done?
I've always wanted my boobs done, I had them done 5 weeks ago. I'm 32. I haven't got any kids but started to feel like my boobs were limp and lifeless lol. I always wanted them bigger, but they were always quite pert , so kind of liked them.
Its totally up to you, think everyone is different. Do what makes you happy :0)
Wish i was 25 with the boobs I have, as being a bit older, I feel I can't wear certain outfits... little skimpy ones to show them off properly lol
xx

Re: Best age to have them done?
I don't think there's a right age. I think every age is the right age if its what you want. I'm 20 but I've had two babies and don't plan on anymore... Not for a long time even if I do. So it really depends on when you want babies? If its in the near future then I would wait, if not, I would say go for it if you really want it. I'm doing my best to prevent sagging by moisturising and wearing my sports bra to bed every night so hoping that helps to preserve them for as long as I can xx

To be honest i always think children first if u can wait as your breast go through so many changes when pregnant it may make your implants sag quicker. so if your guna spend all that money do it when u have had your family. However if your desperate then go for it hun xxx

Re: Best age to have them done?
For me it wasn't about before or after children as I was happy with my boobs even after two children I still had good pert boobs, but after the third and weight gain and loss I didn't have nice boobs any more.
I think if your unhappy with your boobs and size any time is a good, because new boobs are amazing.

Re: Best age to have them done?
I'm of the opinion hun that age is of no consequence. How YOU feel about your breasts and the effects they have on you psychologically is what your decision should be based on...Remember you have have on average a 10 year life span for implants, they aren't going to last your whole life (not unless you're incredibly lucky) if your boobs affect you to the point they make you 'unhappy' then go for it now and deal with whatever the consequences 'might be' from having children or possibly complications that require you to have a replacement when and as need be.
Your happiness is priority babe and if you think having a BA now is going to make you happy then do it! Life's short hun and I personally see no point in wasting valuable time you could have enjoying your boobs now when you're young.

Re: Best age to have them done?
Im 23 and married but we dont plan on having kids for a few more years and the way i look at it is you cant keep breast implants for life so we all go into this knowing that they will need replacing at some point anyway x
Re: Best age to have them done?
I really don't think there's a right age chick so if you feel the time is now you go for it!!!! ;) I've wanted mine since i was 18 but then ended up with 2 babies by the age of 22 so i decided no more babies now i want boobies instead :)))))

Re: Best age to have them done?
Thanks everyone for you support and advise. I think I'm maybe going to save for 2 years and then have it done as I'm not in a financial position to have it done this year anyway. At some point I'm going to need them replacing anyway and I may as well go for it as soon as I can and make the most of the way my body looks while I'm younger. The thing that scares me is the amount of times you may need them replacing in a lifetime and the financial commitment that comes with that (its scary)
Thanks everyone xx

If you were planning to start a family soon then id say wait but you're not soooo go for it , why wait when its something you want now?! like everyone says you'll need to replace them around 10 years so plenty of time to enjoy them and once you've had your kids you'll prob be at the 10 year mark! X

Re: Best age to have them done?
I had mine done at 29, I don't have kids yet and I don't care. If I need a nip and tuck to get them perky again then so be it. I wish I'd had it done earlier.
Re: Best age to have them done?
I'm 20 and will be 21 when I have my BA. Been with my boyfriend since I was 16 and we don't want kids for at least another 5-10 years and the way I see it, I've always wanted them doing, I'm in the financial position to do so and implants need replacing around every 10 years so I will have them done again once I've had children! Xxx

I think you're being very sensible thinking about the long term and the possibilities of the costs involved in changing your implants hun. Its a huge decision to make and not one to be taken lightly, but we're here to help you with any research if you need us and whilst you're still thinking about it, any questions or help we can give please just ask away hun and if youre sure this is what you want, then we'll be here to offer support whilst you get saving babe! Xx
Re: Best age to have them done?
if its what you want then DO IT!!!! :D
i was 17 (nearly 18) when i had mine done but that was because of my asymmetry - i couldnt live with my body for any longer. BEST decision of my life!! Now im pregnant and havent even had my implants for 2 years so things moved pretty fast for me lol I hope being pregnant doesnt change them too much so we'll have to wait and see. Im def going to have another op as soon as i can afford it and after about two kiddies.
goodluck hun x

Re: Best age to have them done?
I heard somewhere your boobs dont stop growing till you're 21 (probably an urban myth someone told me so i'd stop fixating on boobs!) so i've waited untill now so I'm thinking of mine as a me to me present for my 22nd birthday this summer coz I want to make th most of them. I'm not really thinking kids till im in my 30s, and i've already waited since i was about 17 and realised i was probably not going to grow real ones and i just cant wait another 10 years! but i guess that fits in with me and my life plans really

Funny you should say that... My daughter has a very athletic body due to years training in ballet and she hated her boobs (bless her she had nothing at all). She decided when she turned 18 that she wanted a BA, so sent her here first for unbiased guiding, being her mum i was over protective of her, when she decided it was what she wanted to do, I took her to see Douglas McGeorge, who I'd been researching and for 'me' is the best surgeon around and wanting the best for her, took her to see him. He measured and assed her body and told her he wouldn't do her BA. He said he felt her body still had some maturing to do and that if after a couple of heard she still wanted a BA, to come back and he would do it for her then.
She went away, astounded at first that he'd refused her surgery, but sensibly listened to his advice. A year later her body did mature. She doesn't have a big bust, but she has boobs that she's now happy with and will always be thankful for the advice given.
I don't think its the same for all women because we do all mature at different stages in our adulthood, but for her it was the right decision, so there is something there in what you see told babe. Xx
Re: Best age to have them done?
I am 24 and have no kids and I can't wait. You have to decide what's best for you Hun. I have wanted them for a really long time, as long as I can remember and I know this is the best decision for me. I am not sure if my husband and I will ever have children. And the way I look at it is I am not gonna not get my BA for the sake of the children I may never have. It's your life Hun and you gotta enjoy and love yourself. Good luck with your decision x

Re: Best age to have them done?
Im 27 married and have 2 kids and if we are able to have more kids (been advised not too as I have a blood condition that makes my blood clot and I dont carry full term, had eldest at 34 weeks and youngest at 31 weeks) but I would DEF have another one even after having my boobs done, I know I will need them done again, so id say whenever feels right for you xx
