Get this for sizing!!!

Just had to share this...... Got the go ahead from my ps to wear bra's at my 12wk appt, not having time to go too Bravissimo as planned I went into a local shop that sells good makes of bra's and advertises professional fitting...anyway I went in and the lady measured/fitted me and said I was a 36DD, I have never been 36 anything and the bra she gave me was too big in the band and too small in the cup! To cut a long story short I left with a 34E. I wasn't happy nope

I have since been to bravissimo who told me the bra didn't fit me at all and I was a 32FF/G depending on make/style, my new bra's fit perfect and I'm finally happy. How can someone get this so wrong?? I spent £30 on a bra that's not even my size Blush

I'd take the bra back hun!

If they offer a professional fitting then that's what you should expect to get, so I'd take the bra back, with no care that you've worn it and explain that twice they sized you wrong but you needed a bra and trusted them, but the bra was still uncomfortable so you went to bravissimo who gave you the perfect fit!

Hopefully you'll get your money back hun. I know I wouldn't stand for that lovely.

On the plus side, it soooooo good to read you so happy after having a proper fitting and feeling good in your new bras, which look fab in your avi Shaz! dance

Thanks ladies.....do you think they will take it back cookie...I have worn it but still have my receipt etc.? She was a moody woman I was a bit scared of her lol huh smiley

Take the bra back and tell the woman if she doesnt know how to measurw then dont offer a bloody fitting service! My life i dread to think what the hell size she is wearing =| x

they may offer a gift card rather than money exchange, but now you know your size you can at least exchange for something that actually fits. Xx

^^agreed it's their fault.

I commented on another before i saw this one post but love the bra and avi looks great. Wow on 32FF/G. I sometimes wonder how I didn't end up bigger than a 32F lol xx

Yes! Get the dozy woman banged to rights and if she gives you grief tell her you will inform the council and the health inspector will need to come out and check the service she is offering. Either that or tell her you are a mystery shopper ;) x

when I told her the 36 was too big in the band she bought me in a 34c....I was laughing when she went out. Really I should have left then but I'd waited so long to know what size I was and really wanted to buy a pretty bra....I got home and cried as it was supposed to be a special time for me!! :doh:

I would tell her to at least google proper bra fitting and she might get closer to a correct size than she did. Maybe she did a course many years ago and believes it's still up to date. I'm always looking at bra fitting guides online and can't believe how bad some of them are. It's scary.

Wow, you look amazing chick, fab size!!!! I wore a bra and took it back that was from bravissimo and done it with john lewis too, just glued the tag back on hahahahaa got a refund both times :) xx,

36dd??!!!!! Even I can see you're bigger than that... ! Professional bra fitting well that's certainly not professional leaving with an ill fitting bra. She probably still uses a tape measure and adds 5 to the band size.. Think you should take the bra back and suggest maybe she goes into bravissimo to learn how to fit propley by taking a lesson from one of their bra fitters! X Hysterical

I'm soo looking forward to a trip to bravissimo. Going to make a trip to Brighton when I'm 12 weeks post op. Bras seem to fit fine, although in debenhams before we got to the 32f she suggested a 32dd I said I'm pretty sure that will be too small so she got an E which was too small then ended with the 32F. Xx

Well I plucked up courage and took the 'professionally fitted' bra back to the shop and asked to speak to the manager....who was it?...the blooming women that fitted me Blush

I explained how I felt and she said "why did I purchase the item if I was not happy?" I wanted to punch her yes

I said as she was supposed to be a professional bra fitter as advertised in the window and adverts I took her word that it was the correct size...she didn't like it but offered me a refund in a gift card, I smiled sweetly and said that would be great, thank you. I then purchased a 32g bra smiled again and said just before I left...." Maybe you should take that advert out of your window" and left. I felt SOOOO good yahoo

No problem love,y. It was wrong of her to have sold a bra that caused. You discomfort and as she advertises herself as a 'professional fitter' and the bra she recommends doesn't fit! Then a replacement was the least she could do.

I'd have loved to seen your face though when you realised she was the manager Hysterical
