soft nipples
hi there!
Im only 24h post op and in spite of being painfree in hospital, during night it was hell! lol
I could barely sleep as I had quiet a lot of pain, in my chest and back in spite of the painkillers...sleeping lifted is SO unconfortable!!
but I was wondering if it's normal that my nipples are constantly soft since i had the surgery, i know they go all crazy post op as the nerves need to settle down but anyone had them back to normal after a few days? I actually feel the nipples and whole boobs totally numb...and also ( I had unders), do they look bigger once the muscle relaxes and they drop??
hope to hear your experiences soon, you are always so helpful here!

Re: soft nipples
Awww sorry to hear about the pain! It's all very normal
I had unders too and prepare yourself for them to look odd for a while! They may look like puffy nippled, hard, hot, swollen torpedoes! lol! Mine were exactly like that for a while. The soft nipples is normal and they may stay puffy looking for a while yet chick! The under part of both my breasts are still numb and I think this is permanent...I don't mind though as I have boobies!
Happy healing

Re: soft nipples
Don't worry about soft nipples, numbness or size at this stage in your recovery Zoe. The one thing so many of us just arent prepared for post-op is 'time'
Its going to take time for your new boobs to heal... It would be perfect if it happened overnight, a week, or a month away, but it doesn't lovely.... We're talking months here! At the very least about 3 months before you start to see results leading to the final result which can can take a year or more hun.
So give your new boobs time babe. Everything you're experiencing is very normal and as the healing progresses you'll see many changes occur over the next coming 'months' to your nipples, the sensation and to the size. Xxx

Re: soft nipples
My nipples didn't look much different but they were incredibly sore all of the time, I felt like someone had given them a Chinese burn or nasty nip twist LOL.
You're in store for a lot of odd sensations and your new boobs won't start to take on their settled appearance for up to a year.
Try not to worry, it's all normal xx
