Some progress in the right direction. Glad your surgeon listened, Drs can be the worst listeners in the world!

Cookie,
So glad you got some good news and really felt listened to, it makes all the difference! I hope he is right and that with time and more healing the skin will sort itself out, so then you won't need any more revision

Re: Back from seeing my surgeon.
sounds like after a long journey you've finally found a surgeon for you who will do as you want/need... Must be such a huge relief for you.. Really hope it means this is a corner turned and it'll all be over for you soon.
My friend is allergic to disolvable sutures.. she had to have revision surgery on a scar on her wrist many years ago because of it and like you it just wasnt healing.

That's such good news Cookie. It's nice to hear you have such a caring and helpful surgeon that can help you through all this and completely address all your concerns. You've been through so much and now this finally seems like you're on the way to the end of it all! Will be thinking positive thoughts for you xx

Re: Back from seeing my surgeon.
I am glad that you are happy with your surgeon Cookie but im even more happy that you kept your wits about you and made him put it all in writing. Could you not ring or write to Transform about him thinking you shouldnt have had to pay? Personally i think the implant company should have covered the cost because it was more to do with their product than the surgeon doing something wrong. Still, i am glad that you are out on the other side now Cookie, you be a good girl and listen to the nice doctor  x
Re: Back from seeing my surgeon.
Thanks girlies
Balamoryyellfruit - I'm done with Transform to honest. As soon as I've been given the all clear and all is well from the surgery I originally had 6 years ago, I will never look back.
I don't ever want to have to deal with Transform again, hence Mr P assuring me it wouldn't be anything I'd have to do, even if I did require the forum the revision to remove the excess skin. I can deal just directly through him. He will deal will Transform on my behalf. X

Re: Back from seeing my surgeon.
Awwww thanks Kay. The prospect of yet another re-op isn't something I relish as I KNOW you'll know all about, but knowing I won't have to deal with Transform themselves if I I do has taken so much stress from the situation.
Its just a waiting game now... Will find out next month. xx

Re: Back from seeing my surgeon.
Hahaha you're not kidding dolly :heehee: I actually predicted this problem before I had my BA but my surgeon would have none of it. I hope he's right and I'm wrong though.
Thanks lovely. Xx
