New year party too much! Empty New year party too much!

So I'm nearly 6 weeks post op now and always been on beta blockers, I don't drink very often probably go out out every 4 months or so ( joys of kids lol) anyway we went to a friends for new yr and I drank a fair old bit to be honest and expected a hangover but this time it really knocked me off my feet. My ga did the same I was very ill. It's only today I'm feeling slightly better new yrs day I spent the whole day having very bad turns hot and cold sweats heart pounding and went to pass out a few times. Today and yesterday still a bit shady with the harshest headache. I'm trying to find a reason, could it be that my body wasn't ready for it or shouldn't I be totally healed by now? I'm quite worried about going out again cause it really was that bad!! Xx

I'm only 2 weeks post op and had a bit to drink on new years myself. I didn't go mad, but the next day... OMG it was the worse hangover of all hangovers and I didn't drink anywhere near as much as I normally would. Just had a couple of glasses of champagne and a few vodkas!
I think my op def had something to do with the way I felt the next day! I'm now staying off drinking for awhile. i planned on not drinking the whole of Jan anyway, but now thinking I might do Feb too haha!

At 6 weeks post-op I very much doubt your symptoms had anything to do with your BA lovely. I'd suggest you make an appointment with your GP hun to to over what happened so maybe they can run a few tests just to check all is well with you hun. Xx
