Exercise & size.
Hi Ladies, I'm new to this so any help would b great. Firstly a big hello and I can't wait to start enjoying using this site properly.
Just a little question about exercise, I'm currently training for my local marathon which is 24th March and it is a must that I do it as its for a charity dear to my heart so please no answers of "don't do it, lol!" Would you girlies suggest that I wait til after the marathon b4 getting BA?
Also sizes r all so confusing. I'm 5'3 and weigh between 8-8.5st so thinking a large C small D should look ok? I wanted the most natural look possible so don't want too big but don't also want to think I wish I went bigger?!
Any help would b great, many thanks.[list][*]

Welcome t the site :)
Deffo wait until after the marathon chick! You can't really start exercising until at least 6 weeks post op and that's just light exercise too!
With regards to size a consultation with a surgeon is the best bet for advice. What size are you now? xx

Hello mrsflips welcome to breast buddies! This site is great you will love it!
I would definitely recommend getting the marathon out of the way first as you physically won't be able to exercise for up to 6 weeks after your BA. This is what my surgeon told me as I'm a regular member of the gym i was devastated but oh well boobies are so worth it!
My stats are very similar to yours 5ft2 8 stone and in getting 310cc implants which my surgeon said will take me to a full C / small D as i asked for. My surgeon also said he won't let me go any bigger than that as I would look ridiculous which I did when trying the implants on!
Best thing I suggest would be to see a surgeon you get to try on all different size implants and you'll be able to see what looks best on you, they will also give you advice along the way :)
Good luck with the marathon Hun
My BA is in feb so I can keep you updated if you wish xx

Re: Exercise & size.
Hello,
Thanku for quick lovely replies. My consultation is all booked for 23rd Jan. I guess if I wait til April I would have saved more pennies so that's always a bonus!
Zebra1984 at the mo I'm a small 34a, I've always wanted a BA & attended a consultation about 4yrs ago but then fell pregnant and moved house so it all got forgotten about.
Jasmine yes please that would be lovely thanku so much.

Re: Exercise & size.
I'm with the girls hun. If this is so important to you that it comes first, then having a BA is not something you want to do just yet.
When you have a BA your recovery HAS to come first, its the most important part along side research to ensure you get the best from your recovery to get you the best result.
Good luck with the marathon lovely. Gotta admire anyone who puts such dedication into something to donate all proceeds to charity
And good luck with your consultation, hope it goes well babe. Xx

Welcome mrsflips, this site is the best thing that's happend to me during my BA journey so far!! I would definitely wait until after the marathon, my surgeon told me no Zumba for at least 4-6 months depending on how I recover xx

Yep as others have said you need to wait. I am an avid gym bunny but at 15 weeks post op I am still not back to my old routines. It takes time but as Cookie said your recovery is the most important part of the process and is crucial to your final result. x

Re: Exercise & size.
Hi and welcome, as the girls have already said wait till after the marathon to have them done. You can do all your research and appointment before and have something to look foward to for after! What a reward !!
Imma gym bunny and I'm still not back to my routine , a marathon is psychically demanding of your body as is a ba and you will need rest and recovery. X

Re: Exercise & size.
Welcome to the site =] agree with everyone else that best to do the marathon first. And i think it's amazing of you to do this marathon and to be so loyal to that charity and i might as well wish you good luck for both now =D x
Re: Exercise & size.
Hi I would definitely wait until after, I have similar stats I'm 5ft2 and 8st6 ish I have 410cc and currently in a 32E sports bra I don't look top heavy atall. And not as big as it sounds, the best idea you will get is from trying on implants in a sports bra at your consultation it gives you a pretty good idea. Your surgeon will advise the best size for you though and the biggest thing to bare in mind is a C/D may be a lot different than you think, I wanted to be a D but looking back all is very different now, good luck with everything xx
