Worried about implant moving :( Empty Worried about implant moving :(

Post by LisaB84 1st January 2013, 7:29 pm

Hi girls,

Hope you've all had a fab Christmas! I've not been on in a while due to a very hectic Christmas with my family.... Actually looking forward to getting back into a routine.

So I'm starting to freak out about my lefty, over the past say 5 days I have felt my implant moving especially when walking disappoint . It's really quiet uncomfortable and I'm actually fining my self holding my boob all the time. Been telling myself it will be ok but I'm now getting really worried and quite upset about it. Oh and what's odd when I take my bra off and walk around the house it doest feel half as bad. wtf you'd think it would be worse not better!!! Anyone had this happen to them?

Lisa xxx

Its normal hun...

You must be sure to wear a very supportive bra to enable the implant to adhere to the breast pocket. This happens to lots of women and as long as the breast remains stable and gets as little movement from your upper body as possible.

If its still happening when you next see your surgeon, do mention it to them, but keeping the breast firmly stable generally sorts the problem out. Xx

Thank you cookie. I keep telling myself that but it's so hard to remain positive, it's just so nice to get reassurance from you. Thank you xxx

You may not tinks, it's only in my lefty that I feel it and some people never feel it at all. You probably have nothing to worry about :) xx

I had the same thing at about 4 weeks post op. It made me feel sick when I could feel it. I just wore a very supportive post op bra and it went after a week.

I found early PO I was much more comfortable wearing a sports bra that was a size too small, it was hard to get in and out of but I felt much better being able to walk downstairs without feeling them move too much!

I could feel my implants moving everytime I flexed my chest for a while, I don't really notice it now x
