Re: Tips for recovery
I think recovery can seem like ages and be an awful rollercoaster for some of us and it seems like we can be in for ages however when you come through it and are fully healed you lok back and it seems so long ago. I'm Just over 12 weeks and KNOW I'm still not fully healed , there can be days where I still have morning boob in my lefty ESP if I've slept on my side in a funny position. My lefts still completely numb! And righty not as bad but still numb ESP near insions .
No one can predict or foretell what your recovers going to be like you take it as it comes and deal with it day by day.
For me I agree never to totally sleep and do nothing all day it slows your recovery. When you feel ready little walks round the house or garden , try and straighten up as hunchback can be unbearable for some.
Eat a good diet, lots of carbs for energy and protein for cell renewal. Lots of water to flush out ga and painkillers keep hydrated.
And just don't over do it. Listen to your body it will tell you when you've over done it! X
