Going out 5ish weeks post op
So the nurse said I didn't have to wear my sports bra ALL the time after 3 weeks, I think she may have said I can have a break at night. But I've got a dress to wear tomorrow and seriously couldn't wear a sports bra with it. Do you thnk I would be ok for a few hours without bra? The dress is probably as tight as the sports bra :heehee: xx

If your nurse advised you can 'sleep' bra less occasionally after 3 weeks Maos, that's a lot different to 'standing' braless and gravity taking hold of your new boobs hun.
I know you're not going to like this hun and I always feel like the voice of doom but to get the best from your recovery you should follow the advice given to your by your clinic nurse or surgeon. For the sake of one night out you could set back your recovery babe, so I'd advice you find another dress to hide the sportsbra.
Your going to have plenty of time after the recovery period to show off your new boobs Mais, but your surgeon has played his part in giving you your new boobs now, you've waited a long time for them, payed a heck of a lot of money for them and the recovery part is down to you! If you mess this part up hun, then you not only risk setting yourself back, but also voiding your aftercare with not listening to instruction.
Is one night really worth it?.....

Lucky you allowed to wear bras at 4 weeks!
I knew someone was going to say it cookie, I think I just needed to hear it lol. Ahh I spose I will have to wait a little longer, it's just a shame where I hardly ever go out xx

I was the same, it's frustrating trying to find tops or dresses that covers the sports bra completely, but worth it when you're finally allowed to wear wires and can wear any dress you like :)
