Re: Also..
You generally have to be paid up around 2 weeks in advance Char, so to avoid any possible delays later it really would be best to call and settle up so you're all really for the big day.
For your pre-op, you'll be asked to go over your medical history. If you're fit and healthy generally no bloods are taken, but if you do have any medical problems bloods are usually taken at this time just to ensure you're fit for surgery. You'll be weighed and asked your height to check your BMI and you'll have your ore-op pics taken at this stage as well as being given your pre-op information (guidelines of dos and donts before surgery) and your nurse will go over what your surgery will entail with you and any questions you have about your op (such as about alcohol prior which I saw in your other thread) you'll have an opportunity to ask then. If you haven't already been given a date for your pre--op then when you call about settling up it would be advisable to get that sorted too babe.
It's perfectly normal seeing as you have yet to finalise everything to want to get that all done sweetness. Xx

Probably when I was at my clinic just before Christmas it was manic! I'd never seen so many women there! Don't forget that as well as boobs they also do lots of other procedures too.
I'm sure once you call lovely everything will be sorted for you. Xx

Yeh that's true! InfactI know my surgeon went away over Xmas, skiing lol. Don't know if that makes any difference? When are you suppose to have a pre op? Have we got an about pre op link here cookie? I'm not quite sure what its supposed to consist of?
Reckon they could do pre ops the same day? I know I'm in theatre 2pm but I don't know if I'd have to be at the hospital in the morning for it xx

Not everyone does actually have a pre-op in some clinics Char if you are fit and healthy. They don't see it as a necessary step to take, so don't take it a given that you will definitely have one. But its best to call and check hun then get a date booked if it is required.
I've known pre-ops to take place anything from around 4 months pre-op (but have it on good authority that pre-ops are good for 6 months) to the actual day of surgery! So you've still got plenty of time hun if you do require one.
We don't have a pre-op link babe, it simply consists of:
Basically its to go over your medical history to check you're fit for surgery. Xx

I ve had no problems with my boobs or with spire , they just come across as really laid back and all the paperwork and appointments are really last minute, they seemed to have no understanding of how important it was to me and how I wanted to get everything paid for and signed and get my admission pack, it drove me crazy! I m sure in a few days u will recieve all the bits and bobs , I ve got a diary on here, that might help reassure you it has my rants about how I had heard nothing from them lol xxx
