Re-op :(

Just been for an appointment with my PS and he agrees that one of my boobs is defo higher and is recommending I have revision surgery to pull the higher one down :(
Is this a pocket revision??
Also he said u could have a nipple lift and reduction when I'm down which although I would pay extra for I would save as I'm not paying for the GA and theatre costs as they are fee I think :)
Anyone else had anything similar?
Trying to feel positive but feeling down :(
I was upset an didn't think to ask how much a nipple lift would cost?
Does anyone have any ideas?

I had a nipple lift (had the nipple moved over from the left to make it central), I think it was £400 extra. It was fine, bruising disappeared and you can't even tell I've had my nipple moved over. No scarring. I also had revision on one of my boobs, as one was higher than the other, just like yours. It was very painful and sore afterwards to be honest and you get left with not the prettiest of scars (a lot longer than a normal BA scar) but it was worth it for me. x

I'm defo having it pulled down, it's driving me mad.
Feeling worried bt tbh I'm not paying for it so at least I don't need to worry about that!
I've been unhappy with my nips since I've had em done so maybe it's ok!?!?!? :( xx

I need a re-op too hun. Its hard thinking about having further surgery but I am thinking positively about mine as I hope it will be the end of the journey which will end with the perfect boobies that I always wanted xx

Glad your surgeon listened to you babe... Think about the lift carefully hun. If its something you feel you'll benefit from then whatever the cost, its got to worth it hasn't it babe.

5sd hopefully hun we should be going in about the same time, just gonna tell work that i cant get childcare so need it as hols. He did say it would just be a day case.

That is a good point that at least he said yes i would need to have it pulled down and was fantastci about it. Ive got another app to see the other surgeon on 5th hopefully and then we go from there!!

Yeah cookie thats exactly what im thinking and also my PS said if i asked nicely while he was doing the lift i might get a reduction thrown in!! lol

Just want it done now, im going to ask for them both to be pulled down as lefty is no where near as bad a righty, bear in mind you can only tell with both of them from the side as the slope just isnt right if you get me.

But also if i have a nipple lift then hopefully next op in 10 years time will be easier?

I've just had a nipple lift Kxx. I was never happy with the position of my nipples after my first BA but just thought it was something I had to live with. When my ps suggested it to me I was quite taken aback as I hadn't thought about it. The thought of my nipples being cut and moved made me feel sick.

However, after some reassurance from the lovely ladies here and advice from cookie, I agreed and I honestly can't tell you how pleased I am that I said yes. I think they are just perfect. The scarring is minimal and even now, I know there is hardly going to be anything there to see. I think I paid £500 extra for that. x

Really not looking forward to going back under the knife so soon but if it gets the job done lol!! :)

Hey K that is great that your surgeon listened to you and you are getting it sorted!! You said you want a reduction as well, is that a reduction in the implant size? im having lots of concerns myself regarding nipple and size and im giong to see my surgeon in jan to see what we can do.
Really hope you get it sorted and you have boobs that you are really happy with xx

It really wasn't overly painful Kxx. The first few days was just generally uncomfortable which everyone experiences with a BA anyway & boobs felt like big footballs. All that passed really quickly. No problems with my nipples apart from the odd shooting pain in early days. Back driving at 4 weeks and felt completely normal after 3 weeks. Had a very gentle run yesterday and felt great x

Louise I'm thinking a nipple reduction and lift, I have huge areola and they are now like a dark red/brown and I hate em lol
I'm fine with my actual implants as I'm a big girl at 5ft9 size 12 so they don't look big on me xx
How tall are ya babe and what build?
I think yours look fab bt then it's ur opinion that matters most.

I had my areolas reduced Louise. It's funny 'cos I afraid of them being smaller thinking they'd look like dots on big boobs, but the actually do look so much better. Xx
