They've still got changes to go through, what do you mean by wonky? one bigger than the other, or higher than the other?

Hiya Pammie!!!!!
It can take anything up to a year for our boobs to fully settle but if your surgeons not aware of your boobs looking wonky it would be wise for you to make an appointment and get your concerns not only noted but also monitored by your surgeon hun in view of a possible revision if they feel its needed. Xx

You hold have had a 6 week check with him to see how you're healing and to give the go ahead for wires etc. and check if they're softening , scars and address any concerns you have at that point xx were you not offered one? I'd get in touch and ask to see him Hun x

Re: Its been a while but im back...
Generally you should like mrsball said have a check up around 6 weeks. Some surgeons stretch to 8 maybe 12, but generally not any longer than that babe.
If I were you I'd call your clinic and arrange to have a post-op check. As well as your surgeon being able to assess your healing this gives you the opportunity to air your concerns also and possibly get an additional post-op advice that may be necessary to help your healing Pammie. Xx

I had my 6 week check and got the go ahead for wires but that was done by the nurse. Is that not right then xx

Not really Hun, you should always be seen by your surgeon as cookie says 6/8/12 weeks after surgery to check everything's ok as again the nurses didn't perform the surgery and he can give you a thorough check over and air any concerns you have . X

Re: Its been a while but im back...
Your nurse isn't a 'plastic surgeon' Pammie and you paid for post op checks by your surgeon. He is the 'expert' in this field, not the clinic nurse sweetheart. You really should have your progress checked by your surgeon. Xxx
Re: Its been a while but im back...
So shall I just ring up and ask if I can see him. I paid for lifetime cover too so if they are wonky will they re op for free? Xx

Re: Its been a while but im back...
I'd check the 'lifetime cover' and just ensure exactly what you are covered babe. But this early you'll definitely be covered anyway. But you MUST get your concerns noted.
For example, lets say your boobs are wonky, but fine in your healing right now... Two years down the line you decide you can't live with the wonky ness. If you'd have had the concern 'noted' it would make claiming a re-op much easier than just saying a long way down the line you're not happy.
For every week you don't get your concern noted, as far as your clinic are concerned, you're as happy as Larry with your boobs.
Yes, make an appointment to be seen by your surgeon babe. Xxx

Re: Its been a while but im back...
Were your boobs non-symmetrical pre-op? As implants magnify this, and this is possibly what it is. But definitely ask to see your surgeon, I didn't see mine until 12 weeks, but it's usually either 6 or 12 weeks. x

I spoke to my patient coordinater today and she said I dont need to see him we had our boobs done a week apart and we have got quite friendly she told me they need time to settle and that shooting pain etc are normal . I told her I think they are wonky but I feel like she fobbed me off a bit. She said my PS can't see me till march!! But if I really wanted I could see someone else!? What do I do? Xx
