How to massage??
I am 3 weeks post op and at my post op check I was told to start massaging after a week but wasn't told how. I rang the nurse at transform and she said "I would of shown you" I told her she definatly didn't so she said just squeeze the implant and massage some cream in!? Should she of asked to see me to show me or am I just being a bit thick by not knowing what to do?? Help xx

Re: How to massage??
If you have CUIs from Transform, the implants don't need massaging at all because they're textured and therefore need to be left alone to enable them to adhere to the breast pocket.
Massage is generally only advised (usually by a surgeon) if your implants are being a little stubborn and need massage to help them drop down as well as other things they might request it for. But other than that, there's just no need to massage hun.
You're not at all being thick babe. If the nurse is insisting you massage your textured implants I personally wouldn't be asking how? I'd be asking why? Babe. Xx

I didn't realise they were textured!! I'm a bit peeved with them to be honest she told me to leave scars alone and rub cream on boobs! I asked her how to massage she said after she'd already insisted she had shown me that I just " rub cream on them and squeeze the implant" if there is no harm in leaving everything alone then ill wait til my surgeon appointment, I don't know what profile I have either! I've been massaging them everyday so I could of done more harm than good, they are slowly softening still look quite stuck on at minute xx

Re: How to massage??
You won't have done them any harm babe its just that textured implant don't need massage they will settle in the pocket themselves. That's what they're designed for. X
You're only a few weeks down in your recovery so still looking 'stuck on' right now is very normal babe. They will start to come down in time and take on a more natural shape.
You should know your surgery information though. It should all be in your notes so if you called the clinic they should be able to tell you sweetness. Xx
Putting cream on your boobs is fine though hun. It does help to keep moisture in the skin, helping it stretch over the implant. Just be sure not to get any near your scars yet though as they are still prone to infection at this stage. Xx
