just had the op....
Hello!
I had an uplift and 270cc implants (under muscle) on Thursday. I'm all strapped up and not had a look yet - but the swelling is so annoying! It seems to be all under my arms...when will it start to ease?

Re: just had the op....
Congratulations
The swelling under your arms can last for a good few weeks yet lovely.
Try placing some ice packs over the tops of your boobs to help ease the swelling hun. If you don't have ice packs a bag of frozen rice/corn/peas or any veg will do. Xx

Re: just had the op....
I'm actually feeling really down today. I'm uncomfortable and everything is just tight and annoying. I cant have a shower...I'm bored and feel a bit sickly and I'm just fed up!!! This sticky plaster stuff all over me means I cant get a minute relief until I see somebody on Thursday for the dressing to be changed. I am full of worries about whether it has all turned out okay....

Re: just had the op....
Sounds like you're suffering the post-op blues hun it happens to most of us after surgery.
Your medication can often make you feel sickly. Especially those with codeine in. If you feel your discomfort is manageable now then maybe drop the heavy pain meds and just use paracetamol when you need it. You'll feel soooooo much better after stopping those hun and more like your old self.
Maybe have a read through this thread [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. Hopefully you'll feel a little better knowing you're not at all alone in feeling how you are right now and that many of us know exactly how your feeling.
Sending big hugs and hoping you feel better soon xx
