Will they be too big?
Hi there,
I need a breast uplift and implants and had my first consultation with an actual surgeon as opposed to a patient advisor yesterday. I have lost a large amount of weight so I am plagued with lots of excess skin and very saggy breasts. I am 5 foot 6 and a size 10-12 (mainly a 10 but sometimes have to get a 12 to cover my skin. :( I had my consultation with The Hospital Group with Mr Angelo Allerruzzo. I really liked him and he took his time and explained everything really well. He recommended I get 445cc natrelle implants. I don't want to be any bigger really than a DD and I am worried that these will make me bigger? Does anybody have any advice or similar stats? I must add that he said I have very little breast tissue so will this make a difference? Also he has only been working in the UK for 6 months but has 20 years experience..is this a bad thing? Sorry for all the questions! :/

Re: Will they be too big?
It's very difficult for any of us to give sizing advice sweetness because this whole BA sizing is a big enigma to us all, even your own surgeon can only give you a general guide. This is because each of us has an anatomy that is unique to us all. So although you may find another woman with the same stats and implant size as yourself, chances are you may have more/less breast tissue than her, you may have a wider/narrower rib cage than her, you may have more/less overall body fat than her, your breasts may lay differently, you may have a wider/narrower rib cage... All these factors and more are what are taken into consideration and why even a women with the same stats/implant size as you will probably have very different results to you.
It's all so confusing isn't it babe and why having more than one consultation is always advised so you can compare consultation and ensure you're getting the best for yourself. Xx

Re: Will they be too big?
Everyone is different. I had a BA and uplift after I lost 5 stone. I was a size 16 and now I am a 6-8. I had 390 round moderate profile implants over the muscle 9 weeks ago and I am now a 30G, before my op I was a very very empty 32D and was told I has B cup of tissue and the rest was skin. I was offered bigger implants but I wanted a natural size for my frame and I had the surgery to give me full breasts on my chest and to get rid of my empty sagging skin rather than having huge boobies!! Once you have become more active on the site I will share my before and after pics with you. My pics may help as you are coming from a very similar place to where I was. I went with a surgeon who specialised in recontructive surgery as apposed to a cosmetic surgeon as I felt this was more important as my breasts needed completely reshaping and I am over the moon with my results. Perhaps if you are confused get another consultation with another surgeon. I saw 3 before I booked and they all offered me different sized implants and different profiles but I went with the surgeon who had the most experience with uplifts and reconstructions as this surgery is more complicated that a BA.

Re: Will they be too big?
I have been for another consultation with a different surgeon this evening and he quoted 345cc..a whole 100cc less than the other surgeon! To take me to apparently the same cup size. Both companies would be using the exact same make of implants. Baffling!lol :/ xoxo

Re: Will they be too big?
Thanks for that hun. Would love to see pics when I am an active member. Will be visiting a few more surgeons before I make any decisions. Think I will likely go for one that is BAAPs and BAPRAS etc with as much experience as possible. xoxo

Do as much research as you can before you hand over your cash and make sure you feel comfortable with a surgeon xx
