rice test at work, clingfilm or tights?
Hi i want to increase the size of my bust before i have my BA, so its not so noticable when they are done. I thought of wearing rice bags inside a sports bra, what you you recommend i put the rice in,- clingfilm or tights? The last thing i want to happen is for the rice bags to split!!
Any ideas or advise about this would be really welcome.
Thanks

I put mine in very thick tights (incase of a leak!) cut the ends off and tied a tight knot in the ends x
Re: rice test at work, clingfilm or tights?
I personally wouldn't use cling-film... I don't think it'd be reliable enough to stand up to a day a work. You don't want to be leaving a little ricey trail behind you as you go about your day's work!!
I just used normal tights and did as nads said... cut the ends off and knotted them. (The knots made very effective looking nipples!! )

Hi, I'm not sure i'd want to wear them all day, i found them really uncomfy and they looked a bit nobbly! how about buying a really padded gel bra (primark do them for £4), maybe in a size bigger, and wearing that instead? at least then you'll know they won't split all over the floor / fall out!

Well, I agree with LMT, I wouldn't want to have them in all day. Now this might sound sad, but what I actually did was to wear two bras! (something Erin O'conner used to do  ...) The first one was an ultra padded 34aa, the second a 34c sports bra, then I'd put chicken fillets down between the two bras! Bit hot in this weather though!

Oh annie66 - just laughed and laughed .... my 14 years just shouted from upstairs , ah you alright mum ... cos I was lauffing so much ....... saying that just had 2 glasses of wine to celebrate my quickie 6 week check. Yeh I also did the rice test with the tights and I must be a saddo cos I wore them to work for 2 days ! Still it gives you a feeling of what is too come and not make you self conscious afterwards. I put them in my 34c normal bra and squahsed them flatish so they looked okay - good luck.

Re: rice test at work, clingfilm or tights?
many many thanks girls, some great ideas. I didn't know primark sold gel bras and at £4 that won't break the bank.
Wheres the cheapest place to buy chicken fillets from?
I will go to primark on Saturday to buy a couple. I think i will feel more confident in returning to work after my BA, if i've already 'pumped' up by bust before the BA.
I work in an office with 5 other women, but the rest of the workplace is male. They like to have a laugh, so god forbid if one of them found out i'd had a BA, then i wouldn't heat the last of it.
Thanks again x

Re: rice test at work, clingfilm or tights?
They would be too heavy I think!! also you would probably have mice chasing you if you leave a trail
The post from Rachel about the 'Royce' bra is a good one though to try them out as it has a little pocket double layer, but I think you would feel safer to do it at home. But the bras are really good and at a bargain price Rachel found.
Padded or gel bras probably best option for workto save your professional standing.!!
In saying this it is only through experience I wore them the day before my op in London shopping, just needed to feel them on my chest in a strange country to me for ten hours, out of normal routine. I ended up with little rice dents all over my boobs for op day...not good  xx

Thanks cakey baby.
So if i put chicken fillets in the bra, and i normally wear a 34b, what size gel bra should i buy to accommodate the fillets?

Re: rice test at work, clingfilm or tights?
Pre BA I was a 32AA and I wore 32A gel bras from Primark which made me look a normal 32B cup - so it depends how many sizes you are hoping to go up. I don't think the fillets would fit in a gel bra as the bottom outside corner of the bra is already full up with gel!
Good luck with it all, why don't you buy a 34C as that should make you look a normal 34D if that's what you're aiming for?

Re: rice test at work, clingfilm or tights?
If you wanna do the rice test (and you want a fool-proof solution) the best things to do is find the diameter of the implants, get some thin cardboard and cut it in the shape of the implants eg round or ana, then measure the rice out, put both of them into in a sandwich bag, make it the right shape and projection, tape it all up and put that into a pair of thick tights.
If you were just going to use them around the home then tights on their own are fine to use
