Update from me & Picturetrail

Hello Ladies.

Im now day2/48hours post op.

Have been doing okay I think. Pain is manageable, jus feel very tender, bruised and heavy. Yesterday evening I felt so nauseous and my head was spinning, I didnt know if it was the meds I had been taking (Tramadol) or if it was a mixture of those and the GA. I think thats been the worst part so far - the sickness. I took some anti-sickness tabs and went to bed at about 8pm, but woke up again about 3am with nauseous and had to take another anti-sickness tablet, and by this point Id had no paracetamol or tramadol since 16.30pm yesterday. Feeling better this morning though.

Boobs are hot and bruised and weirdly numb at the same time, and dont yet feel a part of me, my nipples are these puffy weird looking things which have no feeling too. Its odd. Feels like they are in my armpits at the moment, and i have some tenting that is irritating me, cause I want my nice gap back! Im instructed to go braless untill i next see my PS. I will be getting my dressings removed on tuesday next week. I feel like I need my own PS to be here and talk me through all the worrys etc, and reassure me its normal and that my boobs are gonna look great once settled!

I have set a picturetrail up if anybody wants to see. Its actually really helped me to not feel like they are overly freaky looking at the moment lol.

Glad to hear you are doing OK! Just to set your mind at rest, the puffy nipple, hot torpedo boob thing is completely normal! lasted a few weeks for me! The underside of both my breasts are still oddly numb though, think that might be permanent nerve damage but I don't mine as I have boobies :)

Are your nipples numb too or more sensitive? I had to be bra free too after mine :) Are you wearing a chest strap too?

The first 4 days after mine I cried every-time I looked at them, lol thinking they were gonna look that weird forever! Don't worry though, give it a few weeks and you will start to see them take shape :) xx

All the things you are feeling is normal ( hot,numb, puffy nipples etc)so try not to worry too much! the early days can be such a worry but we are all hear to help and offer reassurance when needed! this site is a godsend can't imagine what my telephone bill would have been had I only been able to talk to the hospital nurse with all my post op concerns,sure they would have barred my number...lol!

Rest up your early days in what I'm sure is going to be a fab result! XXX

Thanks girls. This site is a god send, especially for people like me, who worry. I hate suprises, and i hate waiting, and Its all of those in one at the moment!

Zebra - My nipples are completely numb I want them back! A couple of times they have gotten a lil hard when iv been cold. But only slight. No strap no - I really want one as I feel like my boobs are heading to my armpits rather than the centre of my chest at the mo. Im trying to give them time and not freak out!

Mirren - My phone bill would be huge too, im so glad I found this site. Im definately resting up. Staying in my onesie today. On the sofa with rubbish TV with the cat for company - fun. I'll PM you my picturetrail xox

Ahhh, not to worru chick my nipples were like that! Numb, swollen and wouldn't get hard even when they were cold! I think it was about a week and a half maybe 2 weeks then all of a sudden NIPP ON WAS BACK! haha! They are now more sensitive than before which is nice! It's just a waiting game!

PS maybe you don't need a strap as you had anatomicals? I don't know though x

Thats good. I really do hope they come back to life even if it is with a vengence lol. The puffa look is not attractive.

Gonna drive me crazy two weeks at home on my own. Think my addiction is gonna grow to this site to keep me sane!

Mines pink with white dots on. I'm quite tall so sometimes my toes get a bit claustrophobic lol!

Just where my cleavage area is raised off the bone at the centre. Just where I'm all swollen and new I think. Gonna try some bio oil on it :)

Ummm why have I not heard of this before? Does it hurt coz its sounds very gruesome, you skin is actually raised and not attached to anything :/ sorry if I'm being blonde but I am blonde lol!!

Good old Primark lol. Will look ridiculous with my ugg boots but think i'll be past caring and will just want comfort on the walk to the car park and on the ride home!! It has no feet so no claustrophobic toes lol

Glad to hear your sickness is better. Just had another look at your pics. Definitely looking good for days 1 and 2!! I had one bigger than the other for ages and righty is still a bit bigger but still early days. I'm not sure how much bio oil will help with your tenting babe because it's swelling. It might help with the tight feeling but maybe an ice pack would be better? They gave me an ice pack to take home with me from the hospital to help reduce my swelling quicker.

Ciantwo - I had tenting too. It's sort of like when the gap inbetween your boobs is so swollen it almost looks like your boobs are joining in the middle! It didn't hurt as such it was just a little sore. Its really hard to describe. Mine didnt go down fully until about 4 week but it does get better each week xx

Cazzyxo ,i used bags of frozen peas wrapped in a t towel,10 mins on 10 mins off in the early days and they were a godsend for taking away the hot feeling !!! Give it a try !xxx
