In limbo...
Hi girls, as the title says really, I feel a bit in limbo, I've found my surgeon, decided on size, booked the date and now I'm just waiting and it feels like aggggeeesss away!
I feel a bit useless on here as I'm still pre op and can't offer any advice etc,
Just can't wait for Christmas, then 2 weeks after its my little boy's b'day and we're taking him to Disneyland Paris... Then 2 weeks after its BA day!

Re: In limbo...
It will soon come around for you because you've got so much to look forward to in the meantime it really will be here sooner than you know it chick and in the meantime you can be planning what to pack in your bag, have an extra consultation to make sure you're both on the same page etc. Feel sorry for the likes of me, i can't even book my appointment yet because their appointments system isn't that far ahead yet haha and still don't know what to do or whether to go through with it because at my consultation i was told i have tubular breasts and judging by my research it isn't just a straight forward open up, implant in, stitch up and ta-da shall have to book in with the GP and see what's said but i'm deffo gona get something done. But your version of limbo isn't a bad stage to be at at all congratulations on being so close! And enjoy Disneyland, it's fab x x x
Re: In limbo...
You're DEFINATELY not useless Mandy! Just think of all the girls you can help with all the research you've done! And how you can share all the emotions of this roller coaster you're on so far with others just stating out on their BA journey. Your experience would be greatly appreciated here gorgeous!
And those couple of months will fly by! I remember adding my ticker when I was around the same point you're at now and look at how fast my op came around! I'm a week post-op now hun and I still don't know where the time went! Haha.
Honestly hun, I'll be seeing that.little running around panic smiley from you soon with you saying how you can't believe your op is tomorrow hahahaha it goes that fast!
So excited for you though Mandy, when you look back after your op you'll realise that this time on the build up to your special day will be one of the best experiences you'll ever have in your life!
Just enjoy it Mandy xx

The great thing about being here pre-op is that it prepares you for the rollercoaster ahead. Use the time to ask plenty of questions!!

Re: In limbo...
Oh hun i'm the same, i've had one consultation, and have another booked with a different surgeon in december, and if all goes well i will hopefully be able to book a date then...very jealous that you even have a date booked lol it's a waiting game for us pre-ba ladies at the moment, but i bet we'll all.be in a mad rush in the week or two leading up to it...and i can't wait haha xx like you say though it's always helpful to load ourselves up with information so we have as much info as possible, and read loads of surgery stories :-) it'll be our turn soon xx

Re: In limbo...
You aren't useless at all, we're all pre-op at one stage and were all here to support each other whether we've been through it or not! It's all a huge journey and you're on yours! It will soon fly by, I remember staring at a little dot on a calendar for months and now I look back and can't believe how long ago it was!
To me it sounds like you have a very exciting time ahead of you, but at the end of the day it is a surgery you've put yourself forward for so it's normal to have mixed emotions! Try to enjoy the whole journey, you'll soon have your perfect additions!x

Re: In limbo...
Ah I see lol well at least you have a date to have a ticker!!
I've had one consultation so far and having another one with a different surgeon (Mr Clarke) in a few weeks...couldn't see him any earlier....so hoping that once i see him then the ball can properly start moving and iput my deposit down and set a date, well that's if i like him lol xxx

Re: In limbo...
I've just glanced at my avi and noticed i look really elongated
I'm 5'7", size 8, currently a 32b...hoping to go up to at least an e. What are your stats?
I liked th elast surgeon I seen, Mr Mahdi, i would feel comfortable having my surgery with him, and he explained things well and made sure i understood everything. But he said i have asymmetry and didn't really want to go above 365cc as he said the bigger the implant size the more noticeable it can look. So hoping to see what Mr Clarke would say x
How did your consulation with your surgeon go, how many times did you see him? xx
